Post-game highlights, plays?

In NBA2k15 the post-game highlights were bugged. You could only watch them if you played 3 minutes per quarter but not more (press Y for each player you want to watch).

How about 2k16? Has this been fixed?

Player Of The Game, individual highlights in box score, none of them work for me. For somebody they work, for somebody they dont. No idea whats causing it.

So it is still bugged in 2k16?

Highlights works fine for me no matter if I played 3 minutes or 20. Sometime when there are not much highlight plays they show like player walking or playing tight defense for example but in common cases they are good.

They work fine for me. The POTG highlights are pretty buggy for me, but not the standard highlights from the box score.

What are the potg highlights? I played a MyTeam game, 6 minutes per quarter...I did not get any player highlights. The poty was shown but only his picture, points, rebounds and assists without video highlights.

Just played a 4x6 minute game NOT to see highlights. This is really frustrating! One of the main reasons to buy 2k16 was to see highlights...and I thought they would have fixed the issue.

The Y button to watch them is not shown...and I can press it for every player on my and the CPU team but nothing is shown.

EDIT Just found the solution!!! What antivirus software do you use? I use Avast...and it seems the realtime protection causes that highlights are not saved. You need to add the Steam folder to your antivirus software's exceptions:

There's something else going on with this, because I've played games in which the Instant Replay option on the Pause menu is blanked-out for the entire second half of some games I've played. When it happens, zero highlights are recorded.

As for PotG highlights not being highlights of the actual PotG, if you sim any part of the game, no plays during the sim time are recorded. The game will just show whatever highlight plays that exist, not player-specific ones. Watch videos from any of the popular NBA2K Youtube personalities (Smoove, Shakedown, 2 Bros, Bdubs, QJB, iPodKC, Kspade, etc.) and you'll see that happen.

I don't know. I am happy that I finally see halftime highlights and player highlights after the game! I would have never thought that my antivirus software is the reason why it did not work!

yep. this is also the reason of minor (or major) amount of bugs and glitches: not hardware but software also influent on the game performance. I remember last year NBA 2K15 refuse to connect to the servers after the launch for me. I tried many different solutions during 4-5 days including completely removing anti-virus and\or Steam with the game and re-downloading all amount of Gbs and was very mad that they doesn't help. the last solution that I should check - reinstall windows and then install Steam with the game on the clean one. during preparation process I uninstalled almost all third party software for making an image of current OS in purpose of restore if this will not help. after all uninstallations and before destroying my OS I decided to test the game one more time and it connects perfectly. so it means that some program (not anti-virus for sure) does not allow the game to connect to the servers.
