MyLeague idea for 2K17

Wed Sep 30, 2015 9:23 am

Hey, just thought I'd let you know that this is an idea that if you want to have NBA: Creating a Legend and The Association MyLeague types combined, the Franchise MyLeague type should have a feature where you have 30 user teams, but you get to choose if you want to be the owner or a player. Similar like Madden, think of that. Do you all support this? For 2K17? I'd definitely buy if that's the case. Features for the player MyLeague mode:

Control the existing/created player you choose.
If you want that player to retire, you can choose to have him be a coach (head/assistant)/a decision maker (known as GM/Assistant GM), you can. (e.g. if you choose an old player who can't become a HC without being controlled by the user, you can choose him and once you have him retire, you can make him the Assistant GM or the assistant coach for a team)
You can only choose one player per team.

You can switch from player of team to owner of team.

Owner features are going to be the same.

Ban someone for having an opinion or suggestion you disagree with? I'm afraid not.

That said...yeah, this is essentially what MyLEAGUE allows you to do now, assume any role you wish within a sandbox franchise mode setting.

No, for making like 100 2K17 idea topics. He's been making them since before 2K16 was even out.

Jumping the gun, somewhat annoying, but not against the rules.

No, that's not what I meant. I meant the franchise sandbox MyLeague type where the user chooses between the owner, the player, the coach (Assistant/Head), the GM (Assistant/Head), the CFO and the head scout, like in Madden.

Examples:
Choose either 15 players per team or one coach/GM/head scout/CFO/Owner per team, which means 30-450 characters max.
Develop your players.
If you choose a player, you can control that player only.
If you choose for a player to retire, you can choose to import them to coach/head scout/CFO/GM/Owner (e.g. if you choose Ben Gordon or Steve Blake, you can choose to have them retire and then have them be a coach, head scout, CFO, GM or Owner if you want to import them that way).

That was all of the examples that I can think of.

There's a player lock function in MyLEAGUE, and you can retire/override retirement for players. You can't assign them to be coaches, however.

I was thinking of a Madden CFM-like MyLeague type then. Should that be in 2K17? It can also allow your players to be coaches/GMs/Head Scouts/CFOs/Owners.

Why don't you just stop with 2K17 stuff for awhile? I don't think there's much interest in the next game when the current game hasn't even been out a week. It's bit early don't you think....
