Question about FPS

Hey everyone,

I realize that there are posts about stuttering and I am not trying to clog up the boards, but I do think my issue is different. After first installing the game I had no problem running it at max settings (buffer count at 3 and super sample at 1) at 60 FPS consistently. But, over the past few days, I am only able to get 50-60 FPS and it is incredibly jerky. Below is my current setup. Any help is greatly appreciated.

GeForce GTX 970
i7-3820 CPU @ 3.60
Corsair Vegeance Blue 16GB DDR3
Gigabyte X79-UP4

Might be an obvious question, but do you have a screen recorder / buffer pre-recorder running now or more hardware monitoring on the go?

Not that I know of - but I am also not sure totally what those are (sorry about my ignorance!). I run Fraps and installed SpeedFan to check the temperature of my GPU, which runs between 54-58C. Thus, I assume my card isn't overheating. But, when I restart my computer after experiencing the FPS drop it goes back to a consistent 60FPS without any issues.
