Contracts still not where they should be

I noticed that guys aren't asking for bigger contracts after the first off season to go with the cap boom. Players are still asking for contracts that are based on what they're rated.

Tristan Thompson for example in MyLeague is asking for a 3 year 21m$ deal worth 7million per year.

I'll admit I was worried about this once I heard that the cap both expanded and MyLeague had inflation sliders. Especially since contracts were already on the low side in 2k15 (far more guys ask for/get the max in real life than 2k).

Really, really hope that this is something that could be patched. Look at how many guys around the league are getting 14+ mil/year contract...how many of them would even ask for that much in 2k, even with the cap inflated?

I completely agree. It takes away from the challenge of building a team. I really hope this can be patched.
