FIXED: No highlight videos in between qtrs, halftime and at the end of the game

After the 2nd patch I noticed that in between quarter highlights are nowhere to be seen + there are no replays at the halftime show and at the end of the game when Jordan player of the game is announced, highlight video is missing (the message just ends after showing the stats and the picture of the particular player). Is it me or its same for everyone?

The latest (3rd) patch which just got released does not fix this issue.

I have had this happen, but not frequently. It usually only happens to me if I save a game and then return to it later.

Odd, but at least now it seems it happens 100% of the time while playing quick game/nba today. Played 4 games and the same scenario - no in between quarter highlights, no halftime show replays (previously (before patch #2) @halftime there were specific replays shown from 1st and 2nd quarters) and no highlight videos for the Player of the game. I defaulted all settings, except for video setting..

Try playing a today's quick game from nba today and see if you get highlights videos..

Does this happen to you in other modes, e.g. MyLEAGUE/MyGM/MyCAREER? Are you low on free space in the drive where Steam is installed?

Edit:

Yes, it does happen in other modes too. Free space is not an issue. I am running it on Samsung 850 PRO 512gb SSD which is 392 free of space. Will boot up the game in windows 10 and see if the issue also evident there. I am currently in between windows 7 x64 and windows 10 x64 and since I am not seeing any performance increase in w10, I am leaning towards staying with w7.

The realtime protection of my antivirus software seems to block the recording feature.
I added an exception to my Steam folder and everything is working fine now

Were you using Avast too or some other antivirus? This might be the cause for some other issues we've been seeing.

For anyone using any 3rd party antivirus, why? Microsoft is far and a away the best option.

Were you using Avast too or some other antivirus? This might be the cause for some other issues we've been seeing.

Avast Internet Security 2015. With added exclusion (steam folder) now it seems that the game even runs smoother all over the place, although I could not really complain especially after the latest patch. Funny thing is that, I noticed the missing highlights only recently although the were gone from the day 1st patch was installed. The game ran fine as if evertyhings was intact. No crashes,no nothing. Just missing highlights with ernie, shaq and kenny commenting statsheet of player of the game. Initially when the game came out I was also running Avast Internet Security 2015 and highlights were not blocked, therefore I was confused - what changed if my system specs and software remained the same?! and why does the game run just fine as if highlights are not even meant to be shown at the resptective instances of the game.

Can you do me a favor and look up in Avast's logs or history (if it offers such a feature) and post a screenshot of any activity of NBA 2K16 that it blocked?

Probably it was mentioned, but nevertheless don't mix highlight videos with instant replays. Replays, except for the replay in situation when there's "and-one" (showing only the celebration and no the shot/dunk itself), work just fine.

I guess you're right. I don't remember exactly just have some deja vu feeling.
