A Complete Guide to an improved NBA 2K15

Postby Kevin on Mon Oct 13, 2014 4:04 am

Another year of basketball gaming on our PCs, another year of modding, another year of fun. Let's see what we have!

Before we start
If you're a modder or an NBA 2K15 gamer and you see something missing (your mod thread, some game info), please reply or PM me, and I'll make sure to add it to the list ASAP. Also, if you want a description added next to a mod of yours, feel free to tell me and I'll add it.

Rosters/Draft Classes
The base for a good experience. You need the latest and greatest rosters, which usually include the latest transfers, updated ratings, coach profiles, skills, rotations, signature moves, etc. Here's what we have so far:
KevinParkerNLSC's Roster
rovert22044's Roster
skoadam's URB Roster
Alby's Roster
Keeks' 2k16 Roster
Mauroth-Kao's Draft Class

CYBERFACES
Cyberfaces are the players' faces' models, as well as face and body textures. Although 2K does a modest job providing good cyberfaces for most players, the modding community amazes us every year with its work on this front. Take a look!
Kevin's Cyberfaces
scarface's Cyberfaces
qfrmcpt310's Cyberfaces
kahoona's Cyberfaces
EmazingErik's Cyberfaces
Basagre28's Cyberfaces
R4zor's Cyberfaces
Davon6's Cyberfaces
AmaroWaade's Cyberfaces

Miscellaneous
Mods that don't fit into any other category will be put here. You have to check them out!
maumau78's Thread
michaelvlutz's Thread
Manni's Thread

Courts/ Arenas
Get the latest and most realistic arenas for your favorite teams ...or the whole league while you're at it!
Basagre28's Courts
Arnau13's Courts

Jerseys
Jerseys are as important to the game as coffee is to a good breakfast of mine. And in Clark Kellog's words, "DON'T MISS BREAKFAST!"
Kevin's Jerseys
[EGS-MLLR]'s Jerseys
samardzicnba's Euroleague Jerseys
Arnau13's Jerseys

Graphics Enhancers
Files that aim on improving the game's visuals. What's a game without these awesome presets?
Kevin's SweetFX Thread
goldenstate77's SweetFX Thread
Alby's SweetFX Thread
TBM's SweetFX Thread

Tools
From the beginner to the expert, modders need tools. If you want to get into modding or want to find that missing tool that does the job you wanted, look here!
volvaga0's ENB/SweetFX/FXAA Remover - a simple tool that deletes any files used by
ENBs/SweetFXs/FXAAs
RedMC Tool - a tool that lets you open up 2k15 files and it also lets you view, export and import files
SweetFX Configurator Tool (with Tutorial) - a simple tool that configures your SweetFX settings. It also has a unique user interface that is easy to understand.
nesa24's [NBA2K15 PC] File Manager - a tool that opens up 2k15 files for viewing, exporting, and importing
gregkgwaste's NBA 2K15 Explorer - a tool that opens up 2k15 files for viewing, exporting, and importing
JSGME Tool - a tool that lets you mix & match mods without keeping back-ups manually

ALL-IN-ONE THREADS
These threads almost have it all.
Kevin's Thread
TBM's Thread
portlandblazer's Thread

A good post bro, and it will be great if you can also make a topic about Locker Codes? A thread about sharing locker codes :) Especially with the 2K Dev team insider.

Thank you for adding my roster to the list. I've been working really hard to keep it as accurate as possible.

Appreciate it!

Thanks for doing this KP.
Quick question, which is the best SweetFX to use for low-end systems? (something that makes the graphics look good for minimum settings users)

I think that you should add Davon6 thread with legends, TBM's thread and mine with Euroleague jerseys.
But in fact this is great idea!

So guys I'm only interested in a few mods, like tight jerseys and net physics anyway, but I havent touched 2K15 in a few months, want to get back into it...
Other games tend to have a mod manager where you can enable and disable mods via the manager prior to starting the game...

what do we have for 2K15 ?

all I know is that it's not as simple as copy and pasting files into folders like it was all those years before..
