PS4 Startup Issue

I'm having an issue where I launch the game and it gets stuck on the Kevin Durant startup screen. This happens randomly. I can't back out of the screen. The only thing I can do is hold the PS button, then go to shut down console, this however only makes things worse because the PS4 goes into shut down mode but doesn't shut down, the white light blinks, there's nothing on the screen, the console doesn't shut down. I then have to hold down the power button for like 30 seconds to shut the console off. Then when I turn it back on, I go through the "checking storage, console not shut down correctly stuff", which I imagine isn't the best thing to practice. I have the digital version of the game. And like I said, this happens randomly, the only thing I can think that might be something, is that I think I've had other game updates downloading when I've had the freeze issue. This has happened I believe 3 times already.

Can you verify your installation? I think PS4 has something like that, "Verify game files" maybe.

I don't know how to verify the installation or the steps to see if it's verified. When I click on options, information, everything is good. I've played the game several times, no issues. Have all the latest updates, etc.
