Latvia the place where amazing happens at least in the field of internet service providers. I am only paying for 250 Mbit/s connection (~20 USD), but ISP is so good that I get 30-32 MB/s as an avarage.

Wow. I thought I was doing good with 3.5 mb/s in Los Angeles. Keep in mind 3.5 mb/s is considered excellent for the USA.
I only have 250 kbps..on average. My ultimate best is 600 kbps.
kbps or kb/s? there is a difference, in case you didn't know
Kb/s. Like my average is 7% of your connection. That bad.

I know. I've been in USA a lot (firstly working as a waiter for one summer in Colorado Springs and then just for fun). Most recently I was in New York for couple of weeks and stayed at my friends apartment in the Midtown Manhattan and I was amazed that even in THE CITY (New York City), the options were so limited and so freaking expensive. I do not remember exactly who was his ISP, but the cost was something around 50 USD for a connection that seemed like dial up model speed
The thing is also that the connection I have is just the basic fiber connection of 100 Mbit/s (first level) and due to long term cooperation (for clients +2years of usage) the ISP doubled the speed up to 250 Mbit/s without additional charge. Max available for my apartment building is 400 Mbit/s for 35 USD, but there are already areas were the respective ISP is delivering connections exceeding the mentioned max of 400 Mbit/s. At some point the speed shall reach the limits of hard drive write speed

Very grateful for 2k for being on-time/early for the first time in a long time!

on-time, early, AND cheap! $45? THANK you GMG!

Holy shit, I realize that USA is big and I wouldn't expect to have fast connection in every small town (and that this would bring down national average), but I would expect quite better connection in big cities mainly due competition.
Though the city where I study and probably gonna live soon is directly on a backbone... And it has population just around 400k, so it's not that big (still second biggest in country).

Damn. The current GMG vouchers aren't working on 2K15 for PC.

Preload complete. Shame the files are encrypted before the release.

I don't have the key yet, because I ordered from CDkeyhouse. They say they likely won't send the key until the 7th. But by Tuesday (10/7) afternoon, when the game is downloaded and installed, the only thing that will matter is I only paid $38.

Yeah, it would have been nice to get a look at the files. But I'm just happy we'll be able to play at release.

Nice internet connection you got there.
Here, I'm paying about $40 for a 3MBPS connection. This will take forever to download.

It took me about 6 hours at 15Mbps/1.9MB/s. So you are looking at around 30 hours. But you can pause and restart it, so it shouldn't be a problem to get it this weekend. We can't look at or do anything with the files so it really doesn't matter when you get it as long as it's done by Tuesday.

If you have it in Steam it should be listed when you click on the game inside Steam.

There are new 20% ones on the front page of GMG

Yeah, that one didn't work earlier, but I found one that did.

Well that's unfortunate.

Preloading as we speak! I hope to be able to play online games with you guys someday. Online for PC has been broken for so many years, it will be a nice change to get the same experience the console users will get for the first time.

I haven't found a rule prohibiting me from discussing how I downloaded my debian installation image via torrent - as it is open-source and this sharing channel is officially supported.
This rule applies however:
5. Discussions and requests for illegal downloads or making them available to other posters are not allowed. This content includes (but is not limited to):
CD Keys (NBA Live or otherwise) & Serial Numbers
No-CD cracks
Warez
Original Game Files
Even encrypted game files are still game files.

May sound like a silly question, but is there a way to preload if you bought through GMG, or only if you go directly through Steam? I tried entering my Key from GMG, and it said I can't for 3 more days. I'm sure if it's possible, there's something obscenely simple I'm missing.
