I'm just playing, but I'm just annoyed because I have never mocked the game I'm just stating that there is pretty much no improvements since last year besides cheerleaders and the new crowd stuff. Gameplay is pretty much last years without the easy charges. Just stating my opinion without someone saying that I'm "mocking" a game I've played and enjoyed since dreamcast.

in that case your Post you crafted to show me off was a bit much dont you think?

if you never mocked the game before you should not have felt insulted because i wasnt talking to you at all :)

look your post this time is ok you make a solid argument, so i gladly reply .. if i look at what improvements are coming outside of Graphic/gameplay(wich both was pretty good already in 2k14) e.g the completly amazingly revamped MyLeauge mode... for a Assossiation Player this alone combined with new graphics on PC makes it a bit hard to see why we would desperatly need a huge Graphics improvement for example.. but its absolutly ok when you see that point different

it seems as if Myleauge and an improved MyCareer where the main workload this year.. so Graphics/gameplay propably only have gotten small upgrades if at all its not optimal but understandable

I loved the video but they've destroyed Suck My Kiss. If you have to leave out full verses then choose another song!!!!

They did dumb down the graphics this year though. The lighting is alot darker than last year's which sucks because it was perfect :(

from what i read i think the lighting is different and maybe the PC Screenshots now make the PS4 Trailer look "bad"

but thats no evidence to an actuall graphical downgrade

it seems very subjective.. and as i said before... make conclusions from a Trailer about the final game is not really the best method.. it could be an early build(it propably is)..and PC will look better on High settings than PS4

I can't decide if it's a downgrade (small or significant) or just a change in graphics/styles. I don't have a PS4/2K14 anymore, nor do I have a copy of 2K15 to compare the games directly. From some of the screenshots and videos the textures seem a little dull/lower but some look the same if not better. Like some of you said I hope it look like this in the trailer due to it not being the finished product (the full textures not implemented yet in the video). It could be a change in lighting causing different skin tones/less shiny skin, or it could be that they made a more advanced sweat feature where players go from completely dry to shiny wet near the end of the game/quarter. The game could very well be a graphical downgrade for PC so more people could play the game, but it's a much needed improvement over what 2K14 was for PC. Textures were some of the easy parts of modding 2K right? We have modders here even if the textures turn out like this trailer.

I agree that the body of the players are a bit awkward. Too many players with lanky arms, torso, legs when they are much bulkier in real life. The body lankiness issue looks even worse when the players are dressed in their warm-up uniforms.

It's a nice trailer, the game looks fine and all, but...well, it just wasn't going to have the same impact as the OMG Trailer. I figured NBA 2K15 wasn't going to be a huge visual overhaul - unlike NBA Live 15, it didn't need to do that - so the element of surprise is gone, and there's no jaw-dropping improvement from the year before. But it was well-produced, I still liked what I saw, I'm still looking forward to the game. OMG was just a tough act to follow, and it probably won't be topped until the next significant step up this generation.

Just rewatched the 2k14 OMG trailer and i still think it is noticeably downgraded graphically. The colors look faded and washed out again like it always has on PC. Reds look closer to pink. It really does look like last gen mixed with next gen.

they downgraded it as i can see.. look at the lighting in their body, looks like current gen when they are sweaty with nextgen texture... compare to 2k14 nextgen..

at first sight i also thought" slight downgrade from 2k14. its because the lighting is now more dim to some degree, vs sharp. So to find out the truth i paused it at the best clip i could get with a clsoe up. Birdman leaning over in 2k15(from the youtube post in this thread) vs NBA 2k14 image of Birdman facing the front. The 1st thing you can tell is what i said. 2k14 was brighter and more sharp/crisp. 2k15 looks a bit more dulled out but if you look closely it looks a lot more realistic. and you can see clearly the hair graphics are on another level in 2k15. look at the separate strands in that bierd, look at the hawk on top of his head in 2k15 to the left... its looks like real hair. where is 2k15 looks like someon drew that spike on. same with his beard in 2k15, it looks like a drawing rather then actual loose strands of hair. So i stand corrected. this 2k15 vid looks better then 2k14

Remember 2k15 is on the left, 2k14 is on th right.

You realize that we're comparing last years next-gen 2k14 to this years 2k15 trailer right?

One thing is certain - the conclusions some of you make after watching this one trailer are exaggerated. It does look good and now lets wait for it to be released to make our final judgment whether its worse/better/same/downgraded or whatever. You can't tell shit from watching a single trailer.

i still stand by my original assessment, 2k15 is duller, while 2k14 is sharper/more crisp.brighter. but for some reason 2k15 looks a tad bit more realistic.

Well looking at this does not make me come to any conclusion that it got worse. You are comparing an in game still picture of nba 2k14 with print screen of a video from nba 2k15 trailer.

I have to agree, graphics is little bit downgraded, but guys cmon pc will get next gen, stop whining, look around how other developers threat pc users. Remember that our nation use so many mods with realistic colors etc. This is why we always comparing, testing, lookin for details etc. maybe this is why developers got enough of listen to this and choose easy console path. What we need together with this new engine(no matter mixed with current pc or not) it is gameplay free from issues and stupid bugs. Rest, well rest can be fixed, hope sooner than we all thinks.
