Regarding System Requierements

its safe to say that this game will "only" be needing hardware about as powerfull as a PS4

that means a solid Prozessor but at least a 4-5 yo good Quad Core
4gb of Ram but 6-8 would be better
GPU in line with a Radeon HD7790 to 7850 or above or a Geforce GTX 750ti,650ti , 660 or anything above

so basically a solid mid range PC

nothing too extreme

on my PC:
Intel Q9550 4x2.83GHZ
4gb Ram
Nvidia GTX 660 OC 2gb

i can run Watch_Dogs on High,Crysis 3 on Ultra,Battlefield 4 on Ultra,etc

i dont know if thats bad or good news for some of you who are wondering

but now you at least have an educated Guess-Benchmark

I sold my PC, cause I will move to UK next week.
I thought that I will buy a console over there, but it looks like I'm gonna stick with PC Master Race after all :D

THANKS LEFTOS. YOU'RE BOSS

Thanks man, I needed this. All I need to upgrade based on your suggestions is a better graphics card.

happy to be of service :)

but please mind that i as everyone else here is only guessing so please take with a grain of salt till the specs are out!

but i stand by it.. its nearly impossible that a Game that runs on PS4 needs more PC than an equal to the PS4 so..

the logical thing is that it wont be more demanding than every other PS4/X1 game

so as i said

solid Qcore 4gb Ram and a solid mid range GPU(i paid 120€ for my GTX 660 Overlocked Edition with 2gb) and you should be fine not nonly for NBA 2k15 but for the next 1 or 2 years in generall after that,we will see^^

Honestly, I was skeptical until the end. Much appreciated, 2K.

Looks like I can start following news about the game with more interest now. Hopefully the port will be okay.

Except to the system requirements, there is such a thing as an optimization on the PC port (Unfortunately, when games porting to PC is often a problem with that). Hopefully, this will be alright

I really dont understand one thing, people still complaining, we got next gen- its bad, we got past gen- its bad. U cant run next gen because of high system requierements? play 2k13/2k14 with mods. Next gen need more powerfull pc but in my opinion it still will be mid end lvl.

I'm sorry but I doubt you can run these games in ultra settings. If you think you can that means you're OK with subpar performance. Typical standard for 'I can run this' is stable 30 frames per second. The standard for 'I can run this really well' is the average frame rate of about 60 fps.
Just look at this:
Image
Your CPU is at the same performance level as X4 965 which is able to run Crysis 3 at a decent 30 fps on high settings (not ultra) while paired with better GPU than yours (680 vs 660). :|

Yes, there are people who have no problems with playing in low framerates (15 - 25) but their point of view shouldn't be determinant cause it can be very misleading to other users.

Anybody from Germany or any close country:

If you preorder on amazon.de TODAY, the PC version will cost you just 20€! Normal price is 30€ at the moment, but because of the Gamescom, it costs 20€ just today! You will see the right price if you give up the order, but not on the product site ;)

I am just happy I will be getting new CPU, RAM and MOBO in the next month, so with my gtx 650 ti 2 gb it should run well? Right now I have core 2 quad q9300 and I think I should be still able to run it with this CPU? For my new CPU I think of getting I5 4570, so that is quite an upgrade... I really don't think tho, that requirements will be so high as lets say Crysis 3 or Watchdogs, because it has no open world, just the court and players...

I think you'll need a fairly modern pc with decent specs to run this smoothly and have an enjoyable lagfree experience because the next versions for consoles are optimized for specific hardware. If you want similar visual fidelity:

My minimum recommendations are

CPUs with 4 cores, 8 threads

GPUs with at least 4GB GDDR5, ~1900+ cuda cores

8GB DDR3 system RAM

Don't take my word for it though, this is what I suspect you'll need. Wait to see what the software utilizes and in what way, and then upgrade according.

LOL thats complete bullshit. Have even build one PC yourself? :D
When I read 16GB low latency RAM i fucking LOL'ed. :D

By the way STOP GIVING ADVICE ON HARDWARE if you never build a PC yourself at least... :o

2K14 runs 1920x1080/60fps on PS4 so any 2-3 Year old PC can handle it no Problem. I own a i5-4570 and a GTX770 and thats more than you need. I bet something like a 660GTX or 7870/270x will be enough for it to play on 1920x1080/60fps/Maxed out.

heh i think 4gb on gpu is maximum
generally i think u are wrong :) your req looks for maximum not minimum.

Dude dont tell my what my PC can and cannot do there is one person who knows that and thats me^^

Watch_Dogs with Textures on Medium everything else on High solid 35fps
Crysis 3 on Very High at around 55fps
Battlefield 4 on Ultra at around 45fps

dont ask my why i can run this.. maybe its because my PC is well Optimised, clean and i take care of it very well, maybe its because i have overclocked my CPU to 3.5 ghz and have enhanced my 4g Ram by assigning 32gb digital Ram on my Hard Drive

pick one

fact is those Games run well on my PC, no matter what some "stat" says how its "supposed" to run..

By the way, how many FPS is in NBA2K14 NG on the PS4/XO, stable 60? If yes, then no need to worry much about the very high system requirements, in my opinion. Especially that XO weaker PS4.
