Intel Core i7 or better

LOL! Very specific. That means any CPU from the last 4 years will do. These requirements look like they have no idea and did not test it.

Yeah, I seriously doubt that you would need an i7 to max it, That would put in in Far Cry 3 and Crysis 3 levels of graphics, which would be insane for a Sports game.

it would be through Steam's servers, not the game's.

Always funny to see I7 processor for recommended settings, I have a I5-3570K and never had a problem running games in max settings with decent FPS when they ask a i7 ... so i'm sure if your proc is a high-end I5 that's enough, at least if the game is well optimized (hopefully).

I preordered mine yesterday on Steam and didn't pay attention to the "Hard Drive: 50 or more GB available space" Free space isn't a problem but i'll have to wait few hours to download the game

Actually a bit surprised at least by the minimum specs, that seems pretty reasonable. Recommended specs seems like the top quarter of the mid-range rigs could run it but We'll have to see what the real world tests show us. I might bite the bullet and upgrade the video card just for a bit of breathing room though, we'll see.

Ight I meet and exceed all of these specs, but I need to know a better GPU (under $500 preferably) since it doesn't specify that. I can run NBA 2K with the average ENB at about 60-70 FPS and 120 without ENB with my AMD Radeon 7670 HD.

Looks like I should be able to run it without an upgrade, but an upgrade wouldn't go astray. It might be a good excuse to treat myself to an early birthday present.

Can't wait for the game to drop. I don't think I'm pre-ordering, maybe I will as I just need to Pre-Order before the release date. I might just wait to see how everyone's experience is with the game. I was surprised to see that the game isn't a DX11 game and that a Core 2 Duo is the minimum spec. I guess a strong DX10 video card could technically play on max settings minus DX11 features.

Intel Pentiums from the Core 2 era should/are weaker than the Core 2 Duos. Does that mean the old Pentium users will suffer?

I'm stuck on AMD's FM2+ APU platform. Not buying a new CPU until the strongest/latest for the socket comes out. All I know is my goal is high/max settings. I've waited for the NG Graphics, I'm going to play it whether I have to invest more money into my PC.

My i5 2500K processor has been overclocked to at least 4.5GHZ so I think I can run the game pretty high settings. (Not max because my GTX 570 would need an upgrade. ) Medium to high maybe.

How would A GTX 770 do with this game? I'm planning on getting it.

No, Titan is 700. Titans are Kepler (GK110), while 800 series will be Maxwell (880 will be GM204).
800 is coming this fall (at least 880 was confirmed by gigabyte to be released this september).
It is rumored to be like 680 - cheaper than last high-end model while substantially more powerful. Point is, you might be able to afford a 880 instead or at least save some by waiting for it to release.

It will work, but you will not be able to run the game at maximum graphic settings without upgrading.
