Why do you always tell people that have the minimum requirements, that the game won't work? I have a friend that has a core 2 duo processor, 8 gigs of ram and a older Nvidia video card, and while he might not be getting 60fps, it runs fine on his machine with everything set to medium. This is no direct science to this. People with high powered machines are having more trouble than low end machines it seems. He might not be able to see all the "eye candy" graphics that the high power machines can, but to me , the gameplay is all that really matters.

did u read my post? HIGH is not MEDIUM.
Im honest guy, so i will inform everyone with low or mid end spec about what they will be able to see. They not ask about gameplay, they want to see next gen game with full details on their low end spec. Should i lie to them? WHY?

Ok...that's fine. Everybody isn't into the graphics is what I'm saying. Would I like to see everything maxed out in it's glory? Sure. But it's not a game breaker for me. When I'm able to upgrade my machine I will, but since I can play the game without the visuals, that's fine by me for now. I mean it's obvious that you won't see the high graphics on a low end machine, so what's the point?

Not for everyone its obvious, read earlier posts, before release of 2k15, 90% of them thought their spec can handle...me2. After release many guys register here just to ask how bad it can be with their spec. This is forum, when some member ask, we can help and answer right?
And one more, i cant name low end machine with 4ghz on cpu, 1,5gb on GPU and 8gb of ram, so as you can see, nothing is obvious here.

Second hand 770gtx, new 270/280 radeon. U can ofc look for 670gtx/ 680gtx, 570/580, it will be much cheaper. In all situation Please make sure your power supply can handle your spec.

you guys are funny, especially few of you that are obsessed with graphic settings and fps, look i told you i have 2 pc's and i decide to play it on weaker because that's where i play games the other one is for work but that one easily could run this game on 60 fps on all high settings but my main pc can't handle special effects although everything else is on high and we play it all the time, but i would return to sys requirements before the game was released i knew i could run it on my core 2 duo it was same as with far cry 3 which is far more graphically impressive than 2k15 and i would say their system requirements were close i run far cry 3 smooth on high settings (not ultra high though) but i ran it on high and i was satisfied..second thing is if i was some fps-graphic junkie i would easily transfer my steam account to my i7 and play it and screenshot my beautiful graphics and fps count in corners with fraps but hey just let me play i'm not interested in such silly things, ayee

Re: Post your PC specs here - Reference in first post

Mon Oct 20, 2014 3:33 pm

Need help guys! Im planning to upgrade my old desktop to play NBA 2k15 on maximum settings @ 1080p with no micro stutters.

My current specs:
Core 2 Quad q660 2.4ghz
Gtx 460 Se
4 gb 1333 mhz

Im on a tight budget. So ill be building my rig starting with a new GPU only.
Ill be getting a ASUS GTX 770 2gb DDR5.

Do you think my current cpu will bottleneck the GTX 770?
I heard that you just need a powerful GPU to play NBA 2K15 on max settings.
What do you think guys? Hope to hear from you soon!

OC your quad to 3ghz and your new gpu will be fine. Later u will move to new socket and u will be fine with i5 4th gen for example.

I have a Q660 go & i cant oc my cpu.
Do you think my q660 2.4ghz cant max this game with gty 770?

Re: Post your PC specs here - Reference in first post

Mon Oct 20, 2014 9:25 pm

why u cant? if i can ask ofc
im not 100% sure about this, i just dont know what is minimum speed of cpu required for all maxed out, i just dont know. All im tryin to say that 2,4ghz will limit power of 770. So if 2,4ghz is enough for high sets in 2k15, your 770gtx will be great, but if your 2,4ghz will be not enough, even 770 cant help you. Best and cheap solution for you, OC your cpu tp 3,0 and second hand 770/new 270x/280x from ati. If in the near future u are planing to change your cpu, right now best price/power gpu is 970, try to not buy new 770gtx, look for some second hand with warranty.

im running nba 2k15 on my i7 930 with 2,8+auto boost=3ghz and im 100% sure cpu dont drop fps.

Skoadam heads the list. Never seen someone so obsessed with graphics. As long as the game play is tight, that's all I'm concerned with.

Re: Post your PC specs here - Reference in first post

For me both graphics and gameplay are very important. Especially for me that im using a 42inch led tv as my monitor. Really need to run nba 2k15 on 1080P locked on 60fps. Or ill be getting a headache if it stutters or if i cant maximize the graphics settings. Imagine if i play nba 2k15 on low or medium settings. Haha. Its like playing an atari using a projector! Joke!

By the way ill be getting a 2nd hand asus gtx 770 2 gb ddr5 for $ 200, do you think its a good buy?
