hey guys, i don't know about yall here but i'm getting pretty much perfect results with an older machine although i have 2 pc's, but anyways i play it on my old gaming machine and my specs are:

CPU: Intel core 2 duo e8400
RAM: 4gb ddr2
HDD: 640 gb
GPU: Gainward GTX280

and with all that i got like 40fps at least with all settings at high but my resolution is not sky high but it's pretty much decent, i haven't tried it on my other machine which is far superior than the first pc with some i7 processor, 32gb ram and i think it's gtx980 nvidia, sorry for basic names of my pc components lol but i'm not really a tech guru when i bought them i just said to guy @ store gimme something to play on lol but anyways the game plays fine, very fine i played already about 15 games with my friend.

maxed out no, med-high yes. Reach for 270/280 for max settings.

@skoadam yes man everything is high except special effects who are turned off, it's kinda surprising but i get to play with it i will try tomorrow on my second work pc which i suppose can handle that game in everything maxed out but here on old pc i get to play smooth and it's not bothering really me and my friend play offline matchups without noticing single hick up or stutter, which is very good

oh well, now everythin is fine. Did u saw how this game looks with special effect on? its 10xbetter. No chance for your 280gtx

i know man, but it's okay for me to play like this not to mention if i switch to other pc i could run it in sky high resolutions but i'm not really obsessed with that stuff

Re: Post your PC specs here - Reference in first post

gtx 970
4690k 4 core
8gb ram

i get a steady 60 fps with 8x on both msaa and supersampling aa forced, along with a -3 on lod bias. gpu does hit a 99% load (dunno when), but i'm never getting frame lag during game.

Processor: AMD A10 5800K 3.80 Ghz
Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD7770 1GB
Ram: 16 GB

I have been using Medium texture, medium player detail. Low Crowd.

AA 4 and 4.

I get consistent 60 FPS per second however stuttering occurs when lots of players are under the basket or a fast break/long passes.

When I switch player detail to high, FPS remains 60 FPS however the stuttering is unbearable.

Any thoughts if I should upgrade something? If so what is my bottleneck? Or should i wait for the patch?

Any thought?

Thanks in advance.

Kevin

would upgrading to a 7870 2gb from a 1gb 6950 be noticable difference. Can pick one.up at a decent price.

ofc it will change, but if i can advise i would go for 270. They are very similar but still 7870 is older. I dont know how much u want to pay for 7870.

i can grab a 7870 used for about $75 on sunday. Not a huge investment on a old rig. Ill check for the 270 out

270 couldnt find near me.

Looking.at a 760 and a r9 290 2gb versions. Assuming both would be overkill for my system. Both listed around $200.

RAM: 24GB Crucial Ballistix
GPU: Radeon R9 290x

intruda, whats your cpu?
7870 is slighty better than 760 imo. 290 and 770 from nvidia, if its to expensive, choose cheap 7870 but enough for high sets(AAx4), ofc u must remember u will still get frame drops during cutscenes(like we all). So, whats your cpu and ram?

Re: Post your PC specs here - Reference in first post

Sat Oct 18, 2014 5:54 pm

amd phenom II x6 1090t @ 3.2(could never get this to overclock)
8gb corsair vegence 1600(might be wrong)

But im only gaming at 1360x768(I like my old big screen).

Only thing I dont have high is textures and crowd. Everything else I play, runs fine for the most part.

Assuming AA is broken because mine is at 8x16(radeon software auto changed it) but runs above 60 except cutscenes of course.

Re: Post your PC specs here - Reference in first post

Sat Oct 18, 2014 5:58 pm

Your CPU shouldnt limit 290, if u afford 290/770 just go for it. There is no chance for AA 8x16 for your old gpu, so it must be broken.

ntel(R) Core(TM) i5-2430M CPU @ 2.40GHz
NVIDIA GeForce 410M
Memory 8.2 GB
Operating System Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit

Can I run NBA2k15?

Yes u can run, but with very low quality and probably with fps drops, believe me no sense to do it.

Why do you always tell people that have the minimum requirements, that the game won't work? I have a friend that has a core 2 duo processor, 8 gigs of ram and a older Nvidia video card, and while he might not be getting 60fps, it runs fine on his machine with everything set to medium. This is no direct science to this. People with high powered machines are having more trouble than low end machines it seems. He might not be able to see all the "eye candy" graphics that the high power machines can, but to me , the gameplay is all that really matters.
