It's not a good price, it's a digital release. FIFA costs 40.

I don't really know much about steam. I have always tried to get the retail DVD versions of all my games. I had never bought a game on steam until NBA 2k14 last year. Maybe somebody here can help me out? I found a site called cdkeysdark.com that has 2K15 for €19.45($25.80). Seems like it's too good to be true. It says that it's a preorder but says nothing of the KD bonus. Is this a legitimate site? Is the cheaper price because of no bonus? How can they sell a steam key cheaper than steam does? Since the price is listed in euros, does that mean they release the key on the 10th? All of this stuff is the reason I have avoided steam in the past. Can somebody help me out with this?

I just went through the FAQ on cdkeysdark.com and they mentioned VPN activation. So I will not be messing with that site. I guess I'll just get it from Steam directly.

These sites get their keys from countries where games are cheap when compared to country they (the site) reside in. Because of this some games are region locked for activation - when you buy the game there you have to activate it there. Of course you should be able to keep your games when you travel back (with few exceptions, like BL2 having special russion version and separate entry in gamelist).

Can I use mods on the steam version? I used Steam before and they ran the update automatically if there is one. I'm just afraid that the update will also delete the mods and I have to download the mods repeatedly.

Yes.
Also you can disable automatic updates for each game separately. What I would recommend is a special folder with modded files - that way you can quickly reapply mods with single command after an update.

Still no system requirements yet. I'd have thought that we'd get a peek at them once the game went up on Steam.

We don't even know the file system let alone mods. If it doesn't mess with 2K14 or any other moddable game there's no reason why it should mess with 2K15. If in doubt JSGME.

40ish us dollars at this link, haven't pulled the trigger myself but the price seems to stick. http://store.steampowered.com/app/282350/?cc=br
Check your conversion rate here https://www.google.com/#q=105.99+brazil ... in+dollars change dollars to your currency.

Edit: you might need to say that you live in Brazil, so I don't know the consequences of that if any. Steam UK has a 25% discount so I recommend people waiting, that 25 will probably be added to other regions soon. Check Steam UK here http://store.steampowered.com/app/282350/?cc=uk

Yes. From Steam, if you can endure the download time because of our country's crappy internet speed.
Or in malls, they may have it next week. (DataBlitz) I am pretty sure it can be linked to Steam afterwards.

I would always wait until short before Release. You don't get anything for pre-ordering 2month in advance. But you obviously want to get the Pre-Order Bonus, which we don't know how it will works. Then buy the cheapest version 1-2 days before Release.

I'm still happy with my 19.95€ Pre-Order on Amazon.de, looks like the Game is SteamWorks right now, what means you get a Steamkey with every Version.

Well, over here I don't have to pay in advance for the preorder, I can pay full price when I'll go get it (or when it arrives by post)

Oh, and they updated the desription which now says that the game isn't on DVD, but as a code for Steam instead. So it seems it's Steam only.

My retailer seems to have info about the game being steam only.
On the other hand even steam only games usually have disc or two with most of the data - for users with slower internet connection or data limit.

Yeah, and if they send you a key, they probably stoled it.

Not the good thread for it, and I saw you spammed this message but I've got the xBox360 controller and I won't change, it's great.. unless for a Xbox 1 controller.
