NBA 2K15 PC-Only Patch 2 (10/23) Released

Hey, again...

Love the Leftos work on pushing 2k devs and try to solve various bugs in this game....but AGAIN, 2k, u made a bad shot with NBA 2K release. NBA Season starts today and this game is very poor playable right now because u guys dont made a correct working on test´s, beta releases, demos...

I pay $59,90 for this game on Steam, and at this time, i have a DEMO. It´s not fair.

Anyways, waiting for patch 3 and fixes.

A MILLION THANKS TO ALL YOU GUYS FOR THE WORK PUT IN ON THE PC VERSION!!!!!!!
The PC Version looks Great, Plays Great, Feel Great.... AND I FOR ONE CANT STOP PLAYING IT!!!!!

Its very surprising that there are so many PC gamers who are complaining about the game.
If its CTD, Not Starting, Black Screen etc....its a problem with your rig. GET IT FIXED BRO.....

I was very excited that the PC version is not downscaled or we are not ripped off this year. AND KUDOS TO LEFTOS, NLSC & Every1 who chipped in.
GR8 EFFORT GUYS & KEEP IT COMING

My only complaints are as below (LEFTOS, 2K GODS & NLSC - HEEELPPP MEEE!!!!)

1. The Game isn't available in India - Not in Stores, Not on Online Stores (Even though i had pre-ordered), Not anywhere - Which is why i had to get mine from my Sis in Singapore.
THIS FLAT OUT SUCKS!!!
40GB Download would've taken me 7-9 days....NOT WAITING FOR THAT LONG

2. The Retro Teams have been downgraded (Animations, CFs, Crowds etc)- I guess it wont be a Big problem once UBR / RayHoops1 & the other Guys get to CFs, Presentation etc...

3. In Mycareer wheres the News Section - there's only social Media updates.......
I loved it when they should Images of My Player, kobe, Lebron, Durant with the captions

For all those Facing Shuttering/FPS/Video Problems .... I suggest try the below (it worked for me)
1. Update NVidia drivers (was a huge Improvement)
2. Use Game Booster (Esp imp for computers that have backgrd apps running like me)
3. If ur Playing MyGM / MyCareer - Play offline (Diconnect the Net) (Fairly good improvement)
4. Use admin rights
5. Keep Free Space in the Save File Location ...atleast 5 GB (I dunno why but it worked for me)
6. Keep V Sync on & FPS at 60 FPS

Now for Video Settings i realized going in this order with the specs will ensure Best Quality proportional to Playable Performance

1. Reduce the Crowd detail to Medium (The crowd detail is Fantastic but this is a major burden...reducing this has allowed me to play through on everything High)
2. Turn off Special effects (Its looks gr8 in the Start / During Cutscenes / but it can solve the shuttering Issue)
3. Shader Quality - Low
if after all this IT STILL IS CAUSING PROBLEM - you need to tweak the AA & AA Quality

As long as you don't do a clean install, your custom resolutions will still be there after updating the drivers.

Sorry if i am chocking some of you guys but i really want to say what i have in mind: 2K YOU SUUUCK!! I have tried everything to remove this Fuc%$!G stuttering but it's still there. I updated my drivers but guess what? it's worse now Are you guys in 2K serious about selling this kind of sh%$? Are you going to give me a refund? Waiting for your answer...

I know i cant be the only one experiencing controller problems.I can only get my controller to work in the main menu and when i unplug it then plug it in again it only works for like a minute or so then it gets unresponsive?

Did you try the DS3 tool by any chance? I don't know if it uses a different driver than SCP.

I'm sorry but you don't seem to understand the "Stuttering Issue" people are experiencing. It is not a low frames per second issue, it is stuttering even while maintaining 60 fps. Even users with GTX 970's and AMD R9 290's paired with i7's and AMD equivalents are experiencing this issue. Funny thing is the stuttering WAS fixed in patch #1, but is back with patch #2.

Would love to see a seperate option to turn on court floor reflections, because I have to turn on special effects and set shader detail to high, just to make those courts look next gen, don't know why this didn't ship with the game .

Is the controller suppose to rumble non stop on offense? Mine goes off after every single dribble. I have not played the updated version for the xbone and ps4 so there is a chance they adopted this type of feedback for that game and I wouldn't know. On 2k14 PC and 2k13 last gen going all the way back to older 2k's this wasn't how it worked.

Its a shame how bad this game has become. I paid $60 dollars for a broken game. nothing works, games optimized poorly and the list goes on. I regret this purchase and wish there was a way to get my money back. This is the last yr i purchase a 2k BB product without testing a demo.

The game isn't poorly optimized at all. Bugs have nothing to do with optimization. The game runs perfectly smooth at 60fps maxed out if you have the hardware for it.

i was playing myGM and when i reached the all-star game i noticed that with the all-star teams' sleeved jerseys, the stuttering almost ceases (like 99%).
then i tested it again with other teams (the ones that have these jerseys available), and if both teams are using the sleeved jerseys, no more stuttering. smooth 60 fps all the way.
if you go back to normal jerseys, the video stuttering and audio crackling comes back.
I don't know if it will work that way for everyone experiencing stuttering, but its worth a try.
maybe it's something relevant and would help the devs fix this damned-to-hell-annoying-bug.

The game isn't poorly optimized at all. Bugs have nothing to do with optimization. The game runs perfectly smooth at 60fps maxed out if you have the hardware for it.

I have the hardware, no other game is giving me problems at all.

4th generation 3.4-GHz Core i7-4930K quad-core processor
16GB of RAM
1TB 7,200-rpm hard drive
a 3GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 (just got this today)

Game was working perfect after 1st patch, 2nd patch destroyed everything.
