Is that a laptop or a desktop? IMO, You will probably be able to play on at least low, maybe medium with your current rig.

You probably won't have any problems on medium.

Nooope! Laptops in general are very bad if you want to play serious Games. If you don't have a Desktop-PC a PS4 would probably be a better solution.

I kinda thought so. Guess I'll have to do a trade/sale. Not because I'm lazy, but because I'm not savvy enough, but does anyone want to recommend a laptop (sorry, but a desktop isn't really an option) that can handle this game from http://www.futureshop.ca or http://www.bestbuy.ca? I wanna upgrade and may try customizing one, but recommendations will be a good starting point as there are other things I need it to do.

I'm thinking, http://www.futureshop.ca/en-ca/product/ ... 61bf26en02, but a desktop may be better.

Turns out I meet the minimum system requirements. Might not need to upgrade after all.

So I used CanYouRunIt for Max Payne 3 and this is what I got ( I clicked recommended, of course)
I posted the only ones who "needs" replacement.

You know what I don't get?
This piece of crap.

I mean, I have it all. EXACT values but is it only because those listed below are just the attributes needed for your video card? Any explanation might help

Recommended gpu's are gtx 480 and HD 5870 which have A LOT more computing 'strenght' (more memory bandwith, more processing cores, DDR5 vram, higher core speeds) than your 640m le.

While this tool shouldn't be used by people who don't know much about gpus, in this case it could give you good insight why your gpu is worse than recommended.

i7's starts around $300
You won't be able to get 480 from stores as it's three generations behind current one, but GTX 760 (which is also fairly better) starts around $250.

Those are for desktop though, I'm not sure how are you planning on upgrading a laptop.

You don't need to buy a I7, anybody who knows about computer and video games will tell you that system requirements that ask an i7 to play full settings is a joke, they probably don't want to list all I5 processors compatible with the game so they just put "I7"; buy a high-end I5 like the I5-3570K, i5-4690K it's cheaper than these I7 and you'll be able to run any game.

You'll also be able to put the difference in a better video card because the GTX 480 is kinda old ...And do not forget you need 2GB Vram if you want to play max settings
So in my opinion i suggest you to buy an I5 (like these two i linked earlier) and video cards a GTX 6 series or GTX 7 series
Also i don't know if you know about compatibilities but you have to be careful when buying stuff like graphic cards and processor, it has to be compatible with your motherboard.

it's kinda stupid to get a I7 with a GTX 480, it's like having a Ferrari and a Lada, the video card won't be able to handle max settings in video games and your processor will be useless

Dont take i7 processor, take Xeon because Xeon is the some as i7, just without iGPU and its cheaper.

Not max settings, maybe medium your cpu isn't good enough and graphics card need to be 2 GB (You have 1 GB)

I think I can run in max settings with 1280x720. Need wait game release and test with settings :}

If I were you, I would get a good i5 and a GTX 660(A ti would be better). If you want a little more bang for your buck you could go with a high AMD FX CPU/Motherboard and a R9 270X.

so for the experts here, I am going to want to upgrade my 1gb GTX 560 Ti. I'd like to stay with nvidia but I am confused as all hell why my 560 is comparable to some cards in the 600 and 700 series from benchmark sites.

What would be the reasonable card to upgrade to?
Opinions are my own.

GTX 760 I guess (depending on rest of your pc). If you aren't in rush, I would wait for Q2 2015 for 20nm.
