I bought 2k15 off steam

I just bought 2k15 off steam but um the download is quite big. However, I have the game files here from a previous installation. I want to let steam get the game files instead of downloading it again which will take me so much time.. Any ideas? Pls help I tried copying the game files in a folder named "NBA 2k15" in the common folder but it wont work

In other words, you have the pirated version and want to make it work with Steam.
