If you're crashing in the Created Players page of the Roster Creator

Tue Oct 28, 2014 1:42 pm

If you're encountering a crash when going to or scrolling between players in the Created Players page in the Roster Creator while editing a local roster (via Create/Edit and then selecting a local roster as a base), there's a workaround.

Edit your local file, upload it using the Save & Share functionality, and then edit its uploaded version by going to Edit Roster and selecting the online version of the file. As long as you're editing a roster you've downloaded from 2K Share (be it yours or someone else's) and not the local version, you shouldn't encounter any crashes browsing the Created Players page. Roster saves this year are much smaller than 2K14, so this should be much less of a pain than last year.

If in the current editing session you don't care about adding any created players to teams or the free agents pool, then you can avoid visiting that page for that editing session by not clicking LB/L1 when on the 76ers or RB/R1 when on the Free Agents.

This bug is fixed in-house for the next patch, so hopefully this should serve as a temporary workaround. Once the patch releases, you should be able to edit your local rosters and browse your created players while editing them without issue. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Has this been pached yet? I'm still having this issue as of 11/30/2014. I have several created players and it was working fine until I hit around the 15 mark. I was able to use the upload workaround however.

No patch yet but bug will be fixed once new patch is out.
