NBA 2K15 PC-Only Patch 2 (10/23) Released

With the help of the crash reports provided by the community through the first patch released 2 days ago along with other bug reports on PC-specific issues that didn't have their fixes make it into the first patch, we have just released a second patch to Steam containing PC-specific fixes for crashes and other issues.

Among known issues fixed in this patch is a fix for a boot-up crash with some audio chipsets, a fix for controller vibration and a fix for a glitch on the hair of some players. Other minor fixes are also included.

Let me know if your issue has been resolved or whether it persists. Remember, we're talking PC-specific issues (so crashing, stuttering, hair textures, etc.), no other fixes are contained in this patch. For other fixes that I've mentioned are in the pipeline, there will be a future bigger patch for all platforms, but there is no ETA on that.

A sincere thank you for your help as we try to make the PC experience the best one yet.

If you get a crash and you haven't posted it in the Crash Reports thread, that's the right place to do it. Crash reports in this thread might be overlooked. Do not post the same issue in both threads. Thank you.

Thanks. You're the fu*cking man. The hair texture is perfect and the stuttering is gone. I can now enjoy my game at 4k 3840x 2160 at 60 fps. Thanks!

Really appreciate the sweet patches it definitely improved my FPS. I was wondering if you guys will have SLI support soon?

Hey Leftos, real nice patching flow, so happy and pleased to see this treatment!

I have an issue with a friend, better said, he has an issue with his account. He doesn't do English so I'm writing in his behalf.

He was one of the guys that didn't activate through the email and instead of reseting the password he chose to delete the account and start over. But now we can't play MyPark together, we're both on Rivet City and whenever we try to join the other session a popup appears that says something like "This user has switched teams", can't remember the exact message but it's really close to that. But we're both on the same team, we can't even join the same Jordan Rec session, I crashed when attempting.

Any hints? He already opened a ticket, but that might take long.

So, should I assume the resolutions that are unknown aspect ratio's will never be addressed? I just want to know for sure!

Hi Leftos. Are you guys already trying to fix the "transaction history" issue? My player in MyCareer mode has reset it's attributes and suddenly became Michael Carter-Williams of the 76ers. No trade has been done and it pissed me off so I tried simming it till off season and tried a trade. Now I'm on a different team (Lakers) then on my first game, the commentator called me Carter-Williams. The hell is that. SMH.

Try deleting your VideoSettings.cfg file and letting it recreate itself. Mess around a bit with the Video Settings.

My steam username is matt1992 and i've been unable to connect to the servers since launch. . any possible fixes?

umm im not sure if its connected to this but my myplayer career is thrown back to last season now after installing this . i usually let it autosave but i didnt start another my player career so far so my career should still have been saved after playing in other modes.

my only expanation is that after playing other modes it overwrote the autosave slot for my career,

I didnt think the game would also overwrite the autosaves of other modes...

Can you town down the shot-making ability of the CPU? In myCareer, the opposing team is always like 70-80% FG on the night and there's no option to lower the sliders. It's ridiculous seeing the CPU hit just about every jumpshot imaginable.
