Saves location?

Thu Oct 09, 2014 9:24 am

I can't seem to find where my saves are located. I just spent around 5-6 hours making the rosters as accurate as possible, as well as adding new contract extensions, removing retired players, and making a list of all the missing players from the game so I could eventually create most of them. But when I went to get the save, it was nowhere to be seen on the PC.

In previous versions, it would be in your AppData, but it's not there, just VideoSettings.cfg.

Any help? And I'm playing this game offline, so I won't be sharing the roster from my 2K account. My plan was to upload the file and have people download it.

Thanks in advance if anyone can find it. I looked everywhere I could think of.

I'm still waiting for the game to unlock, but I've read that they're stored in the game folder this year.

Wooow that blows. So no one has found a way to retrieve the saves from the game files?

EDIT: Found it! Thanks!

Unlocked now, so I'll finally be able to get my hands on it.

Was it in the main game folder?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\77024999\282350\remote is the default location.

This will be a bit different for everyone too. Mine is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\51535565\282350\remote

Easiest way is search your C: for "roster0001" 2K15 seems to use this file naming convention rather than any save names you give to them.

Checking the steam cloud_log file. Looks like these files are constantly checked and synced. Not sure if that might cause a problem should you choose to go online in future.

I think you can also check in C:\ProgramData\Steam\%UserName%\282350\ (Windows Vista and 7). I found my MyCareer save in the subfolder 'storage'.

I went to ProgramData and didn't see the steam folder. Please help? I don't know how this works.

Check under Program Files, or Program Files (x86).

Go to Steam->Userdata->click on one of the numbered folders->click on one of the folders with a 6 string of numbers until you come up on 2 folders named Local and Remote. Remote will have the save files in it.

Nope still I can't find the folder in Program Files (x86) or Program Files. Do you have to get steam or something? Also, whenever I try to save something in NBA 2K15, it never saves. Like I went on create roster and save, and then when I come back, it doesn't save.

Tell me, exactly how are you playing the game without steam?
