A few new hi-res screens

Postby Andrew on Fri Oct 24, 2014 8:22 am

I realise it's all about gameplay footage at this juncture (and several videos have been posted here), but EA has sent us a few new hi-res screenshots, showing off a few players that we requested.

Wouldn't exactly call these high-res. They're just the regular 1080 ones.

Full HD, then? Unaffected by Facebook's compression?

Here are the original 7168x4032 files, if you wanted to check them out:

Pre-order canceled. Another terrible game by EA. Those nails are completely muddy.

As long as it looks good on normal cameras during gameplay that's all that matters to me

If they don't have this by next year, they may as well close up shop.

Without question. That and shoelace physics, of course.

In all seriousness though, it's a pleasing upgrade on last year. Still room for improvement, but leaps and bounds better.

It's actually not that different from last year. Obviously the faces are a huge improvement but most of the rest hasn't changed much. The player models looked pretty good last year.

And either they've gone backwards on the hands or that pic is just out of focus.

The hands and skin textures were best in the business last year, as this pic I took on PS4 shows...

I don't even understand. He wondered if '15s hands were downgraded or if it was a DOF thing, so I showed another closeup screenshot of hands from the game, and he got all bitchy.
