If Live programming had some kind of modular design where they could swap out and replace pieces of older games while maintaining the connections that keep the rest of the game's programming from breaking and being reworked to fit the balance with the rest of the gameplay elements then sure, they could just combine all of those features. It sounds simple, yes, but this company is having trouble just getting a functional playing game, let alone adding features that should have never been taken out of the game.
Oh, and from the podcast, Sean O'Brien said that a lead developer told him a while ago that they just added 400 new dunk animations. 400 itself is a good number, imo.
