No, I was disproving Andrew's claim that neither game released raw gameplay before public sale.

I'd forgotten about that. There you go. Still, compared to what we used to get, there wasn't a whole lot of raw gameplay, aside from off-screen Gamescom videos. If you check the videos section of our NBA Live 07 subsite, you'll see a few raw gameplay videos that EA released back then. We mostly get the sizzle trailers these days, but I do stand corrected on NBA 2K14, we did get that gameplay video.

Lacking by far? Seems pretty comparable to me, at the very least a big step up from last year from the screens and in-game snippet we've seen so far.

For sure, it's definitely a huge step up from Live '14, but to me, it still isn't comparable to 2K.

It looks about the same to be honest.

Although I think Live is going to take a MASSIVE step up in destroying the uncanny valley effect because the eye models are realistic.
2K has NEVER gotten eyes right.

That being said. If Live's animations are still jittery and robotic then it doesn't matter...

Also... from that quick in-game clip it looks like the in-game models have ZERO soft shadow ambient occlusion...

I would say they're on par with each other now but I prefer Live's lighting.
