i heard the podcast. which is why i made this thread. The manner in which you pose the question made Sean give an answer that seemed like "yeah we could probably one day do something like that." as if its LIVE 2020 or something.
Thats because you asked the question in a really general way. For example. if you ever get a chance to bring that up again. you have to some what lead him and say "hey we dont need an entire high school season, we dont even need the real high school (let the custom roster websites take care of that for you).. we dont necessarily need the ncaa, we can use fake schools or a fake teams(AAU like teams). that again doesnt have to be realistic as far as who's playing on what team. the only thing that would be cool is if the right people played at least for their proper state. Meaning the actual rookies that were drafted into the nba that same year. the rest of rosters would be filled out by CPU generated players. again this could also be left open for custom rosters.
it all depends on how the question is asked and how its presented. Because he can give you a vague answer like he did. or you could some what walk him thru exactly what you're asking for then he could see, "oh what you're asking for is ncaa football's rising star high school tournament. oh yeah thats definitely a thing we could implement fairly easily."
now of course we would like it be exact by 2020 (real highschools, their likeness, real colleges, real d-league teams/rosters, real FIBA teams/rosters. but right now we would be willing to take ncaa football esk style rising star with the tourney in the beginning.
