Now THAT's a GLOBAL! if you still have the patience to continue your projects, i wish you could look into realistic accessories. Like the one by KevinParker the modder :D (i hope he can share his accessories). and i really like that LUMINA LIVE FX, it looks easy and next-gen-ish to the eyes.

Actually KevinParker has been beta testing my global and enb, I think they are going to use it in their live project, he can add as many accessories as he like, just dont forget to give credits :)

totalrebound, be careful of accusing someone of stealing, I may have used his skin tones and muscles but this global is not totally his alone, besides I have not and will not release the work here publicly, thanks to you. I will always give credit where it is due, and I acknowledge johndoe22 for being one of the greatest in global modding and other works alike. Case aside, I have introduced multiple features, using my own effort in this already enhanced global. Nonetheless I do not claim that it is my global, it is technically still that of 2K and not ours.

Let us not forget that the basis of all globals is the Default of 2K, can a modder claim this as his own product just because he introduced new features to it? No. But he can claim to add new features to it, that is what I am doing. If I am stealing, then so is that man who first modded a default global and claimed it as his work, and so other modders as well,that is what it means if we are to take into account your line of thought. Let me not lecture you of international copyrights law. But if a man reinvents something and introduces substantial changes to an original work, so novel and aesthetic, then he has created a new product which he can claim as his own, provided he registers it or reserves its copyright, not to mention if the original product has been introduced publicly. But I am not claiming, I only meant improving an already enhanced default global of 2K, in a technical perspective.

All in all, 2K's global is only one of the copyrighted works, it is just a product we develop which none of us can claim. Let not the black crow accuse that a crow is black.

Great post and explanation, but this is not a place governed by international copyright. We have our own rules and if you are using someone else's work without permission and plan to rerelease it with your own modifications, it won't be here. If all you used are his skintones and muscles then simply grab the game's default global file, redo your own edits, and either attempt to replicate the other stuff or not include it.

Again, we have our own rules and ethics here, if you do not wish to abide by them then release your global elsewhere, but it won't be advertised here. This is your warning, you have acknowledged using someone else's work knowingly and plan to rerelease it. If you do it will probably end up with a ban.

I completely understand and I respect this forum and this site, I will release this work privately. But yet again, I have not released the work here yet, so technically I have not violated any rules, if that is what it means by "rerelease". But if I already violated the house rules, then I will take this post down my self, just to observe these forum ethics.

by all means continue with your project, thank you for your understanding, just make sure you have permission for anything included that you did not make, if you are releasing or advertising a release here.

And please lessen the color intesity because sometime is not good to the eye, i suggest you create courts according to the color of it in the next gen

NBA 2K15 will launch Oct. 7 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

If you guys looked at all at the whole 20 posts in this thread you will see that it was already called out and handled. I know in the blind rage you all have over someone not understanding the rules and trying to contribute to the community that it can be difficult to read, but it is kinda hard to miss the long posts and not think "hmm, I wonder if something happened that I should read".
