Nope, you can't turn off auto-save via in-game settings since 2K13.

OK, so i'll look into it, while digging through non-roster data of mode saves.

more of a general question, not 2k14 related.
players have position and then their type, ie scoring, shooting, 3pt specialist, all around etc...
is there a setting for that in reditor?
when you change their position they automatically default to all-around type. what happens if you change their position in reditor?

Yep, Primary Position, 2ndary Position and Play Style are all there. If you change player's position, nothing more changes in RED (so, you change PG to C, but his Play Style is still PG - Passing First, for example); i'm not sure, if the game will auto-correct his Play Style, when loading, though.

Possible in theory, but this will require another month of work, fully focused on that. So, better just use REDitor II to edit 2K12 files. ;)

Will be able to change jersey type from nba team jersey to euroleague jersey?

Are there any core differencies between the two?
It will be possible to change Team Type from NBA to Euroleague (and vice verse), change jersey sets for teams... well, also will be possible to make t-shirts out of jerseys (tanks to 2K for 2 new jersey models).

Draft Classes are not in the initial release, sorry. Will try to add support by NY, but no promises. By Feb for sure. :)

Question for Vlad. Last year we were able to make the players wear suits and casual/ my player shirt and shorts in game. Will we be able to do this with this version of reditor? Also, do you think it is possible that players could also be able to play in warm-ups? I imagine that it is controlled by some hex value.

Yep, suits and casual are possible for every game mode. But no warm-ups.. actually, if you find the correct IFF file and replace model and textures of e. g. Suit with a correct for Warm-Up, this will do the trick. But the vanilla game doesn't have this controlled by an in-roster value.

Actually, i'm sorry to say, but the release is delayed for another week maybe. So, will happen by December, 10th. This is because my car got broken, so i had to spend several whole days repairing it...
The quality is always the top priority, so better to wait some additional time, although all could be released on Dec, 1st.
I'll also take a deep look on PS3 files this weekend, so if everything's good, they will be in the initial release.

Anyway, it's only left to test and fix possible bugs, update the purchasing system (so, old customers will get their deserved discounts :) ) and finish the documentation (thanks to M@dDog for his help with making good-looking tuts out of raw texts).

the funny thing is that i just want this to put correct ages to the prospects from my draft class... can someone explain me a way to do that because all the players that were born in 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 i can't give the correct birth date...

Great news about the tooll,and sry about the extra work on ur car.I wass assking,becouse when i create jersey in gimp,on the low player graphic s,the number position is like in nba team and nba logo is there,but on the high graphic everything is just fine. Good luck with the tooll and the car and i will definetly buy the tooll this year :D

Hey Vlad, is it possible for Red to let nba 2k14 have 13 active players per roster instead of 12? I don't see why they didn't do this since you are allowed to do so in real life.

I don't know what would happen when you actually started the game... but, you could assign everyone to the all star team, then in the players tab assign them their team's id. That puts them in their team's jersey in the edit player screen. No idea what it does if you play a game though.

The prices for 2K14 are also revealed. The total for a single platform is $1.6 more, compared to the original 2K13 prices. Of course, you can choose a set of licenses, you wish. The discounts up to 20% are applicable for returning customers. Also, the 30% multi-platform discount is present (the rules are the same as for 2K13). The prices for most 2K13 licenses will be lowered by 20%.

What makes this mod “sim”? Here are a few of the features that set this project apart from all others:

- Every art file (jerseys, arenas, cyberfaces, accessories, courts, dornas (advertisement at half court), etc is realistic and none will crash game play
- There is no missing art file in the entire project

Every player in every roster has:
- Accurate statistical ratings and tendencies to work with 2k's simulation engine while still providing realistic game play
- Realistic ratings and tendencies that affect game play but not the simulation engine ie dribbling, athletic ratings, post tendencies, etc.
- Realistic physical attributes that decrease after major injuries or as the player gets older
- Accurate play types
- Accurate contracts

- Accurately updated Coaching profiles and playbooks

- Draft classes that have realistic player information for every player

- A few slider sets designed to be a base for realistic game play

It is done with a Beta version, though, so it had a couple of broken things, which work fine in the public version.
There is also a Demo version in the 2K13 RED MC thread, so you can try it yourself on a 2K13 file.

This is when you purchase licenses of a game for more than one platform (PC, X360, PS3) with a single order. So, if you purchase "Full" for all the 3 platforms and don't have any other discounts, then the first one will be $37.6 (like on a screeny above) and the 2 other about $22 each.

Is there anyway to pay for the 2K14 reditor now and get a key so when it comes out we can use it right away?

I'm sorry, but this is not possible. I mean, this doesn't have a proper automatization and if this goes through, i will be flooded with orders and not able to make finishing strokes and get to the release.
