I can't get a roster open in it either. The first screen that loads up when opening the program doesn't contain a 2k14 icon as mentioned in a previous post.

guys come on... experiment play around.
1. Load the program, it will load even if you don't open nba 2k14.
2. Once loaded you may want to boot up 2k14.exe or you won't be able to edit a roster
3. From the in game menu go to Load and select the Roster you want to edit.
4. once you have loaded the roster in game click on the icon at the top with Lebron's head.
5. Now under lebron's head should be an area for you to type in the player's name that you want to edit (Or it will say Alec Zou like in the screen shots)
next to the name area, click on the little blue icon (which is sorts the list of player's) and select the first option.
6. Now a list of all the players in your roster will be loaded up.
7. At this point all you have to do is use the trainer edit all the players you want using the translated thumbnails in this thread.
(You don't need to do anything in game)
8. Save the roster in game.
If you want to view the changes before you save just go to edit player in game and you will see the changes. At this point if you make any changes through the in game editor while the trainer is running they will not be saved after exiting the "edit player" screen even if you did select save changes.
These aren't stand-alone programs. They are more like trainers, which is common knowledge really. Especially when you consider they don't require installation, they don't need to be put into the game directory and you don't need to load any roster files. So the only way for it to read the game files, is to run the game.mlp111 wrote:Have to say thanks...... BUT really man was your little rant necessary? How would I have know that I needed to boot 2k in order for this to work? I usually close at all programs and nonessential windows programs, run game booster along side other programs to maximize my gaming experience.... That would have been the last thing I tried... But thanks anyways

what are you talking about a rant... I want people to start learning how to play around with these tools so the community can pump out more mods. I'm excited about the tool. But seriously how am I ranting when I just gave a detailed description on how to utilize the tool. I was not disrespectful or being rude. I was just encouraging others to play around tools and experiment.
I wish the best of luck to you. I hope this tool helps you create new mods and enhances your gaming experience
Nuh uh, I didn't do anything! Seriously, why would he be talking about me? I've only been trying to help people! I think mlp111 is refering to "guys come on... experiment play around." which is head scratching to say the least.StompTheCourt wrote:I think mlp111 was talking to Nightfly67 dude
I've been toying around with things, trying to see what it changes in-game so I can translate it. But a few people were quicker than me, so all that I've translated has already been translated. But I'm going to keep working on the things that haven't been translated yet. It actually isn't too difficult once you figure out what the tab you're on means.TGsoGood wrote:in any case this stuff is taking up space in the thread... Has anyone been able to translate the other tabs
Alright, you are not trying to run the trainer, you are trying to extract it from the archive. You simply need to extract it wherever you want using 7Zip, WinRAR, whatever you have and then simply run the .exe file.kidabra wrote:Still can't get this trainer to work. Whenever I try to load it up, I get 3 options: Extract files, Run, Cancel. I've tried both Extract and Run and it won't load up. Even with the game running in the background. Anybody know why?

You said you tried to run it, which indicates you already extracted the archive. Considering that you still get the "Extract" option, you didn't extract the archive. You don't get any options like extract, or run. All you have to do is double click on the .exe after extracting the archive.kidabra wrote:Like I said, I've tried extracting it, and when I click on the app, it won't open. I tried "run", it still won't open.
I'm not trying to be a smart ass here, but you load up the program by double-clicking on the .exe. Make sure you extract all the files! If you try to run the program from the archive, it's not going to work properly.nextnba wrote:How do you load up the program? I open up the application and I get what looks like 5 browsing fields only? I can't get to the section that shows L. Jame's head.
