thanks for this but how exactly do i get the courts to show in blacktop? it keeps showing the default.

actually, I skipped out on blacktop support for this other than unlocking all players for it. I hate the orange tint that goes with that rooftop court, and that even though it has a small crowd they make no noise.

If you really want to have one of these courts for blacktop, rename a stadium and a floor to s614 and f614, then in Blacktop Mode turn off reflections for the court to show up.

Sir I've an issue about that mod: when I play drills in my mycareer, floor doesn't appear...:S So, which floor's used for practice court?? :S

Not problem, I'll change it with another floor...

So I am at work on the 2nd version of this mod, that will have to wait for RED MC to be released for 2K14, but its more than just a rehash of what exists. I'm going to rework the crowd a bit more, redo backboards, new shadows on the court, and try to integrate the sleeved uniforms a bit better. I do not plan on adding environments for this mod.

I am also using http://www.courtsoftheworld.com/ to choose real life courts in each NBA city. I've chosen the top ranked outdoor courts for each team, I am not looking to be persuaded to sub out one court for another. Here is the list of courts that will be in the 2K14 Midnight Ballers mod.

in a fuckin' brilliant and intelligent move, I have marathon created all of those 1 texture courts. It's 1:30am, and I started during the Celtics game this evening, but its fuckin' done. (it wasn't a straight through marathon, but hours were put in)

Going to revise crowd positions on the baseline to help with the automatic replays, make a few different shadow textures (maybe multiple, not sure yet), then hit the Blender trail and recreate/make new backboards. Bing's bird's eye view maps have been a HUGE help.

I may or may not "reward" myself by making t-shirt team uniforms.

Not really, which is a (un)fortunate thing. Most everything left is stuff only I can really do (lighting/shadowing, backboard modeling, crowd positions).

If you can think of something you'd like to add to the project, feel free/let me know

I know you said you were finished, etc. but just figured it couldn't hurt. If you ever feel up to it, you could give a look at Jackson Park in Chicago, or Mosswood Park in Oakland, as alternatives to the ones you chose. Even Cloverdale in B'More has a unique look, although it doesn't link up with a specific NBA city. Also, Goat Court in Harlem has a cool color pattern (blue with an orange key and green inside the 3-point lines) though it's certainly not more famous than Rucker or The Cage as far as NYC goes. Other cool looking global parks like Yoyogi Park in Tokyo and Politehnica Sport Arena in Romania, again, if you ever want to do a few more of these midnight courts (and I'd gladly use them!).

I chose these courts with that website because it was clear objective data so I could just use the top rated courts from each city. Not valid (I mean the Mavs are playing at a high school court) but a clear way of choosing at least.

More will be made for sure, and I plan on making it easy for anyone to make these suckers by making their own 1 texture court, choose a backboard, choose a shadow template, done. So yea, the year is still young.
