TType in Teams Tab

What is the practical, exact difference between 22 and 25?
Does it just make it so that the year shows and in blacktop they're placed in the legends tab instead of current?

Additionally, I really want to use Euro rules (doing a high school mod) but I don't want teams missing from blacktop. There's no way to do that right?
