How do I correctly Install AND/OR CREATE Mods? Please help.

Hello,

I am completely new to NBA 2K14 and the mods. have previously downloaded mods from here & tried to install them. The most recent mod has been a high school mod (viewtopic.php?f=153&t=111041). The logos and loading screen would appear correctly, but none of the uniforms, floors or stadiums would appear. The name of the teams were still the NBA teams as well. Is there any way that someone can show me a tutorial to how 2k14 mods work, how to correctly install and how the game is structured? I have no clue how to do this but I would like to know how to mod this game. I know how to mod other games like NCAA 14 & Madden & somewhat know how to mod NBA 2k20 & 2k21, so I should be able to pick this up if I were given instructions. Please help
