CAUTION : This is not really for Novice/Newbie, You need some term of knowledge on it before understanding it. [also because i explained it badly(English very Bad )]

A : NBA2K18/19 model Shrinkedwrap to least vertices model of NBA2K14
B : Texture Converting
C : Editing 3d Hair

Tools you need :

Blender Import for Latest model of NBA2K Games :
http://www.mediafire.com/…/v4dc5yzf…/NBA_2K17-3D-IE-v0.96.7z

Blender 2.72b, You can't import the Latest 2k model on 2.67 so you need this! :
https://download.blender.org/release/Blender2.72/

For easier DDS saving in photoshop CS6 :
https://www.instructables.com/file/F32PNWBF11S8SYA/

Step #1

Okay. I need you to do first is to uninstall the Blender 2.67b or other you use for modding.
I need a clean uninstall (After uninstalling, delete the Blender Foundation file in Programs
Files)

Then download the Blender 2.67b via Zip files on :

https://download.blender.org/release/Blender2.67/

You don't need to install the Blender2.67b if it is in a Zip file. Just unzip it and you can
use it now!

Now go download the 2.72b

and find the installer one then install it in your C:/ Drive! or your usual installer
location (or you can do the same with a zipped file of Blender 2.72b)

After that. Go copy your NBA_2K17-3D-IE-v0.96 files in your 2.72 main folder.

#2

Download 7-zip and install it

https://www.mediafire.com/…/jzaewbxr…/Dwayne_Dedmon.zip/file

now you should have a NBA2K19 png files so we can start to extract the model files we needed

Once done installed, Right-click the Png files of NBA2K19 > 7-zip > Open Archive

Find the "hihead.SCNE" and it should be only one. Then you can just click on it and
drag it to the folder where you want

Then as you drag hihead.SCNE. There is a two hihead files on top of it. Drag the largest size
one or with a .model at the end files on where you put your hihead.SCNE files too.

They should be not seperated

#3

Open the Blender 2.72b and go to User Prefrence > install from file > nba2kmods addons >
Then check it up.

Now do the same with the io_n2km to the blender 2.72b.

Now import the headshape of "All around Headshape from the files uploaded here in group"

Then go to properties in out of the layout and Go to Scene.

Scroll down and there should be a NBA2KXXX Importer Panel.

Click the folder file icon in the top right of "import" button

Find the hihead.SCNE and click it. Then click the import button.

#4

First is to separate the head needed part to the body of 2K19 models. By pointing your cursor to the vertices and clicking "L" on keyboard. it will select the object you want to move

Then rotate to match the facing direction of the 2K14 model.

Try to match the head size first before you assemble the back of the neck and match it.

As why use this headshape? Because it has the best in-game size and also easier to edit.

#5

You need to cover-up all the vertices the needed to wrap with.

See at the end that i try the shrinkwrap but there is still so many problem? Because we need to cover this. As there are 4 most need part in the face to cover.

First is the eye

Second is the nose

Third is the Mouth

and last the Ears

If i rate them from what is the hardest to wrap. In my opinion is the Ears.

#6

Eyes Wrapping

Always Spread your Verts for better angle or shape of the model. Also make it looks clean.

#7

Nose Aligning & Wrapping

#8

Mouth Aligning & Wrapping

#9

Ears Wrapping + Making it look neat

You should no have the exact look like mine with vertices placing. Every one has a different result sometimes. You just need to close them out to the nearest surface you can.

#10

Compatibility of the neck and exporting.

Then you need to do is export and import this to 2.67b then do the texture!

ctrl + G for "Assign to new Group"
