When i started my conversation with monzki and when he proposed some kind of retro most needed cfs and when i started to review all rosters, i thought some of them are really good- you know very well how hard convince modders to create retro cf, they prefer 13445765 version of lbj or curry now- but after first releases from monzki i understand how wrong we was about quality. I think monzki through last few weeks put so much effort, i dont remember since year or two guy like him. Look at his ncaa cfs, now retros, guy is amazing. Dont take this personally(others) but finally cf modder with smaller ego than his works.

That is just not true, in my previous post I said how much I value the work of sko & slimm and how much I liked 2K13 and that was a great body of work.

I also have the right to say that I'm disappointed and to share my thoughts about it, I'm not trying to troll anything cause at the end of the day all I want is to have a great time playing some NBA games :)

Anyway, like I said, numbers looks correct, 3PT % is fine, it's just about the gameplay, i just see players do weird stuff and i'll repeat myself : ( kyrie dunking on bigmens, players running fast 'till the line and doing crossover to stop, Curry not playing that much around the pick & roll, Lebron who has no post move )

I can try to fix this with player's sliders but Ithinks it's also cool if Slimm can check this out and see what's wrong ^^

First thing. You are talking about cpu vs cpu or user vs cpu? Maybe both.

yes i know and understand, i just want to release all together with huge retro jerseys update, its not only about me, but also shinron so blame him for delay :P but seriously, i have done 1985-2006, 6left, together with shinron files, im not sure days probably, not week.

btw. can you review 2013,2014, 2015,2016 rosters and report me back all collars issue there? also you could check which jerseys was in use, i want to leave couple of retro jerseys there(2013, 14,15) and i want to have them with correct collars. For 2016 i want to leave whole jersey tab, so there is a lot of checking. So?

I started looking into it and you do have some points. Sorry I thought you were trolling. Vague posts about how baaaaaaaad the quality is makes me think that every time.

Curry wasn't running many PNR plays because, for some reason, Draymond Green didn't have PNR Roll play type. Big men have to have PNR Roll type as well as wings having PNR BH type to execute a PNR play. I fixed that.
Lebron doesn't do anything but take fadeaway jumpers in the post because, again for a reason I can't explain, he doesn't have low post play type. When the CPU engages in a self-post, the only move I've seen them make is the fadeaway post shot.

I will look through the 2016 roster and see if there are any edits that need to be made to play types. I have mentioned to sko about some errors with pasting in the conversion process and this may be another example of that.

I'll fix this today. Sorry about that, guys. Keep the error logs coming.

What makes this mod “sim”? Here are a few of the features that set this project apart from all others:

- Every art file (jerseys, arenas, cyberfaces, accessories, courts, dornas (advertisement at half court), etc is realistic and none will crash game play
- There is no missing art file in the entire project

Every player in every roster has:
- Accurate statistical ratings and tendencies to work with 2k's simulation engine while still providing realistic game play
- Realistic ratings and tendencies that affect game play but not the simulation engine ie dribbling, athletic ratings, post tendencies, etc.
- Realistic physical attributes that decrease after major injuries or as the player gets older

So, I was wondering, when I load a preset 2016 season, what are the pre-set sliders? Because right now I'm playing a quick game ( Knicks vs GWS ) with the CPUvsCPU sliders and I swear the gameplay does not look the same, way more ball movement etc ...

I'll watch some Porzingis ( i hope i spell it right) game and see how we can improve this big fella in game.

u know if we can change team id for teams ?? so we could use some retro crowds in that way ? I have redmc but i dont see any possibility for this...

Your sliders are bad man. CPU can't miss, I played few games and CPU's FG% is always over 65 %. Perimeter defence is not exesting, CPU can always just pust my defender and vice versa and all they do is just go to the basket. There is no post moves, actions for big mans, there is none mid range shooting too. Also, I can't defend their moves around post, either they score or go to free trow line.

They don't use any size up/hesitation move. Also somethin I'd love to see is a player driving the lane then post up and doing a move for a quick bucket or pass, is it possible to get this doing some tweak with the sliders or it is more with the playboook?

I've done several games today with the warriors again, they are far far from a 17-0 records, Curry is afraid of driving the lane and to do lay ups, Green and Barnes they like to stare at each others and doing some passes, Klay is allright ( doing some drive mid jump / catch & shoot / driving to the basket ), Livingston is not taking wide open mid shot but he has a high tendency to take midshot, he'll go instead for a forced lay up.

In the other hand, Bigmens are really nice and they do not need any changes :d

No, the sliders are good if you know how to play the game. Me, Sko, and Eustachy (an animal at gameplay) crafted our Hum Vs. CPU sliders over a ridiculous amount of games.

It's not the sliders' fault you can't stop the computer. It's yours. Man up and get better.

If you're talking about CPU vs. CPU sliders (I honestly can't tell), there will be some games where the CPU will shoot the lights out and other games where they will shoot around 40%.

You loaded 2016 season file or 2016 roster file. In season Save file pre set sliders are user vs hum sliders.


I loaded 2K16NCAA roster file and did some games from the main menu.

I'd also like to know how works the player's sliders, because I can see they have no 0 at every dribble sliders ( crossovers, in & out, spin etc ... )
They don't use any size up/hesitation move. Also somethin I'd love to see is a player driving the lane then post up and doing a move for a quick bucket or pass, is it possible to get this doing some tweak with the sliders or it is more with the playboook?

I've done several games today with the warriors again, they are far far from a 17-0 records, Curry is afraid of driving the lane and to do lay ups, Green and Barnes they like to stare at each others and doing some passes, Klay is allright ( doing some drive mid jump / catch & shoot / driving to the basket ), Livingston is not taking wide open mid shot but he has a high tendency to take midshot, he'll go instead for a forced lay up.

In the other hand, Bigmens are really nice and they do not need any changes :d


I set all dribble tendencies at 0 in 2k13 and ported them over. I'm in the process of editing those because I believe the coding in 2k14 does a better job of utilizing those moves. I WILL NOT IMPLEMENT SIZE-UP DRIBBLES. They are horrendous. I hate them. I will not use them. I will consider Hesitation dribbles but I have to do a little more gameplay testing to see for sure.

I am also updating the post up tendency which partly influences how often a player will drive and post up when they make contact with a defender. Players like Lebron and Carmelo should do this already.

I don't know what you're talking about with Curry being afraid to drive. The last game I played against them, he murdered me on drives, pull ups, and 3's. I'm not an expert at the game, but I'm pretty good.

Play whole games, hum cpu sliders are very good, for sure not easy.

Ok gotcha slimm, I'll also try to play around the sliders.

Now back to Curry, I just did a game OKC vs GSW and Curry murdered them, which is funny because he was so bad against the Wolves/Pistons 'n Nuggets.

Carmelo is very well set up, you did a good job on him.

Last question and i'll stop bothering you, do you also play with the cpuvscpu slider when you try out stuff or you leave the game as it is after loading the roster?

I usually leave it alone. After making my most recent changes, I had to lower inside and close shot success in CPU vs. CPU matches. They were making about 80% of their shots there. The edits I did made it too easy for the CPU to score in the paint.
