JaoSming I have now emailed Vlad three separate times and tried three different keys. The program works great for a short time and then I lose all features such as text editing, and iff editing. The options disappear right out of the software while the program continues to say its registered. I only use unaltered files. I'm running 3.0.1 on Windows 8.1 with no third party antivirus installed. I emailed Vlad again but do you have any suggestions? I am about ready to throw in the towel.

I do nothing with the licensing aspect of the tool, it is 100% Vlad. Other than hitting reset registration, close, restart RED MC, reinputting your username and registering your keys, closing, starting again and waiting for "Activating Keys" to finish on the bottom right before opening a file, i dont know what to say.

anyone know what is wrong with vlads paypal? it tells me that the recipient is unable to receive money.

For me the problem is... After I re-register my keys, it asks me to restart the program. The next time when I start the program, the keys appear registered but no functionality is there, cannot edit anything other than rosters(while I purchased all functionality for NBA2K14, including association files, my career file and draft class files, I was able to edit them before this happened).

What I dont understand is that if I close the program and restart, I have to re-register again. This really confuses me, even if the keys aint working, why do they just disappear again and again? I can make a video for the problem I am having if necessary, its really strange. Nothing is working, and everything is so weird.

Edit: It seems that the poster above has a similar problem as I do, the difference is that I still use my old keys while he appears to have new keys. If this problem exists for new keys, it may be yet another glitch?

I have the same problem, i didn't use a new key, i just bought the program.

umm so is the problem resolved for you? If not, I guess its safe to assume that it will not be fixed then? I thought buying new keys might help, but now I aint even sure anymore if your new keys aint working either.

Hi im running into a problem with my RedMC. So i just upgraded to windows 8 and well ever since then i had entered my Key for registering and then later on in the day it would ask for me to re-enter it. But at the same time, i can only still use the players Tab. When i have more then just that bought. If anyone knows of how to fix this please help me.

changes in OS i believe change your computer ID, email vlad with the new ID on the register tab for new keys

Just a quick question about the V3.0.1: In the Myfriend panel, when we go to the Teams tab and select roster or staff, there's a box for actions, previously there was a button that allows us to directly filter the roster for the selected team and that was really useful. Now, in the box there's nothing!

Is there a technical reason for that or it was just removed..??

And also i can't open multiple files ( rosters) at same time anymore, and no possibilities to create my own filters!

Otherwise i can edit and do what i want, everything is working except those points i mentioned.

Have a question in regards to MyCareer. I'm at the beginning of my second season and I'm moving some players around to different team. It seems like if I move too many players, my file freezes when I try to load it.

Is this normal? Or is there something I can do so I won't have this issue?

I have been working on the UBR roster set and one of the main issues I am having is that certain players should be restricted free agents, but aren't for some reason. I keep setting the value under status to 1 for these players, save, and then when I reload the roster all of the changes are gone. Any idea why this is?

Ok I've been trying to update the staff list to be more accurate and I need help figuring out which columns are relevant and what value they need to be displayed to work in the game.
For example I edited the first two made up head coaches to Lionel Hollins and Jeff Van Gundy, then edited the first two assistant coaches to Tyronne Lue and Alvin Gentry but when I went back to the game only Hollins and Lue were in the free agent list of coaches list.
What should the TeamID be for Free Agent coaches?
Is there another field that needs to be changed also?
Any help would be appreciated I still kinda new to this. Thanx

Staff members should NOT be assigned to a team on Teams tab, and also have their CStatus field set to 0 or 1.

I think an explanation would be nice, but good chance even the creator of this tool does not understand why for some users it aint working. I think perhaps you just have to give up, sometimes theres just no fix for issues like this. *sigh* Is this your first time using the script? If so I think there may be a chance for money-back for you, although I dont know exactly the policy. I've already used the tool for a while until it broke for me, so guess I dont have this option anyway.

Is anyone else having this issue? I ordered the life-long versions of all 3 .iff editing options in Red MC and got my keys from Vlad. After entering my keys, everything was working perfectly for the first day or two. Recently though, I am no longer able to edit the letter/number positions on uniform files. Everything else still works and I can open and edit portrait files, import and export textures no problem, and even do the text editing with the english.iff file. The only thing that doesn't show up for me is when I open a uniform file and click on the jersey_numbers row (of type name not type txtr) or I click on the names row (also of type name not type txtr), the only action available to me is export and there is no "import" button and most importantly there is no "edit" button which is what I need to be able to edit the jersey number and letter positions as shown in JaoSming's tutorial. It seems very odd to me that only this one feature is not working, so I double checked that all my keys had been activated properly, which they had (all 3 iff editing ones say I have life-long activation). Therefore, I would like to know if this is a problem specific to me or if others are also having this issue. Vlad, I would also appreciate it if you could take a quick look into this and see if this is a problem on my end or if this is a global problem for all Red MC users. Like I said before, I did see the "edit" button for the first couple of days after activation, but it has since disappeared for some reason unknown to me. Lastly, just to be clear, I tried working with both already edited files (which just say File0, File1,etc.) as well as original 2k files (which have all names of rows show up properly), and neither type of uniform file gives me the edit button anymore for jersey_numbers and names. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, all I want to do is fix the bad transactions that the AI makes. Can you just not edit MyCareer much? I'm about ready to give up, the only reason I got RedMC was to edit MyCareer.

for more help with the 360 version, check the last gen rosters forum for nba 2k14 at operation sports. They have guides on how to get the file on and off the 360.

as for the edit, you just find the birthyear and change it, no need for additional pay for licenses oranything
