i have read your post (probably the longest ever in NLSC).

For beggining we may try to start with the following:

New York Knicks logos, test both of them playing with NY at home and write if there are any changes

Still no change.

I don't think it is a logo file problem. I think it is a problem with the layers of the newscorebug.iff file.

Even when I put texture settings to low, I can still see something flickering in the background of the black/grey box behind the home team name abbreviation.

Actually just tried on medium texture settings and now the entire home team box is flickering just like it does in high settings.

Also, the stat flyout is still also flickering in rythym with the flickering of home team box which is why I think the two things are related somehow in your scoreboard file.

The only thing you new logo files did was make the NY Knicks' color show up even on low texture settings which is good, but it was still flickering even on low settings so that does not solve the problem either.

What program do you use to edit scoreboards or is it all done by hex editing?

Please take a look at the newscorebug.iff and see if you can move whatever texture/layer is currently behind the home team to somewhere else not visible in game if that is possible.

Uhm, just a question. How come i get black colored logos on the TNT scoreboard for home teams?

Exrxixxx I am using your custom scoreboard as I think it is at the same time both subtle and stylish. Thanks for your great work

Do you also do other presentation mods or is it only scoreboards you work on? I am going to make some requests, in case you are not interested to make something like this I'd be grateful if you could pinpoint me to someone who could help:

1. Between 1st - 2nd period and 3rd and 4th there are some highlights of the game being shown, but they are being shown in a very small window with some background art covering most of the screen... is there any way to remove the background art and make the highlights appear in full screen?

2. I remember back in 2k10, after a game was finished the best highlights of the game was shown. Now the only highlights are for "Player of the game", in my opinion a very stupid decision as basketball is a team game. Anyway... Would there be anyway to mod the game as to show highlights of the whole game after the game has ended ... something like what is done in half time break but without the announcer talking as there are no speech files for that sort of thing, just some music maybe.

3. In the beginning of each game there is a presentation screen with the teams' starting five, showing their heads... in some really low-res graphics - I have no idea why they turn out so low-res. Then there is the screen presenting the starting five, first the guards then the center then the forwards...which also looks quite awkward since they all do some weird show off moves that just make them look silly. Would it be possible to remove this completely?

4. Your custom scoreboard looks great, but when there are substitutions there is this 2k overlay on the top that looks quite ugly and "loud" compared to your scoreboard...could you change that to something more subtle and closer to your scoreboard?


A lot of requests so far and I know that most of them have nothing to do with scoreboards, but I think you've already done an amazing job on the scoreboards and we could use some improvements in other aspects of the game's presentation.

EDIT: 5. Would there be a way to remove the effects from player of the game highlights, I think the black and white and saturation effects are just out of place.

Sorry, I didn't know you didn't. I've just seen other people making request from specific modders in their own threads and I thought it wasn't forbidden to do so.

Do you know how to add PSicons to english.iff of TNT Scoreboard? I follow the JaoSming tutorial to import textures, but when I go to the game the Icons look transparent and poorly defined.
