Could you tell me more, that´s interesting.

I like they way the potencial attributes were set in 2K13, most of my scouting/testing was done with the first draft class. I loved how DeShawn Overton eventually would end up a superstar because his potencial was in the 90s. You had busts in the draft like Tyus Shelton I believe, he would always turn out a high pick but his potencial was 70 so he didn't really progress just stayed a bench player, now with a 75 overall he progresses every year and I believe so does his potencial, he's able to reach star status. Then you had guys like Alex Ejiofor, he was a defensive monster on my Heat assosiation for the Magic, picked 1st overall, never became a superstar because his potencial was at 70, but he was a solid starter with his all-around game. At power forward for the Magic he could score, but not put up big numbers in that category 14-16 PPG, he could rebound averaged almost double-doubles with rebounds, pass a little bit around 4 APG, he really shined on defense blocking and stealing he even won a few defensive player of the year awards and made a few all-star games. I liked the progression of players, the way the players played and most importantly what their future had in store for them more in 2K13.

As for the accessories, it's not really a big deal, but let's take Mel Goodson as an example. On my Heat assosiation he was a starting center and star on the Bobcats for many many years. Just from the look of him, he looks like an angry and vicious center with a high basketball IQ, those hex pads looked perfect on him along with rubberband on one wrist. In the current draft for 2K14 his accessories make him look like Nerlens Noel or something, he looks like he's worried about the trends and fashions rather than the game.

EDIT: Also noticing how many CAP faced players got drafted, I think you should consider making them stand out a bit. It doesn't have to be cyberfaces, as proven in the past, you can get some great looking faces using what 2K gives us with Create-A-Player.

6558 downloads in 4 days and so few feedbacks ! Well thanks to those who leave comments here.

No didn't wait for REDMC to release, i'm not sure if I can edit draft classes with it and I'm broke anyway so won't buy it before i find a job.

I have one problem though. I love drafting Mario Hezonja from the 2014 class (bamz draft class) and i love using your draft year 1 as my 2015 draft and drafting Jermaine Lee. The problem is they both share the png4044.iff cyberface lol...how do i fix it so that Lee can have a diff ID so i can play with both! Thanks!

You might want to take a look a that : viewtopic.php?f=153&t=92806
That is what i use.

No i don't think there is a way to do it as of right now.

Thanks for this big answer !
The thing is it seems that this year 2K changed the way potential works. From my understanding if you set a potential to a player, it will be the max overall rating he can get. If i settle a 75 potential to Shelton, that is the overall rating he might be at his peak if he reachs his potential.
I simmed a lot of associations to see how the players would evolve and it seems potential is not a rating that progress.
I don't know what'd be better that the system i use, if you got ideas i'm listening (Y)

About accessories, they are all mostly the same, with the exception of Goodson and a few others maybe. But don't worry i'll remove his pads for next release :D

About the number of CAPs used, it's the same as last year. BUUUUT.... i'm working on adding more CFs per class for next release, expect a total of 50-60 CF per draft class next time.
Overall thanks for taking the time to write me that message, and if you got any other suggestion i'd be glad to hear them.

I really admire all your work and dedication. Last year I loved drafting Julian Richmond (I think from year 3) to the bobcats. He and Kemba Walker became a great 1-2 punch.
I want to use these this year but I will wait for the final versions to be released.

Great job, i love this draft classes.
As others here, i have the problem of the sharing cf ids with Bamz, and i cant change Bamz ids as im using it in my main association.
If someone has already made the changes in all pierralban draft classes so it doesnt overwrite Bamz files and want to share it, it would be huge.
Greetings.

It has always been like that since 2k13 bro...
I think someone made a topic about potential development and I guess no one really believed in that but I did..
He actually did made an experiment on how players progress...

From what I've found, potential rating is what a players overall rating will be at his peak (like you said)..
Previously we thought that there's a magic number for potential like 71 or something (I forgot..) but it's not the case..
If you didn't notice the game recognizes a player as a prospect if and when he is 25 or below years of age, 4 or below years pro, and has 71 above potential, lower than that he's a bench warmer, so it's misleading to say that a player will achieve superstar status if he has 71 potential..
What if he is already rated 71? Then he will be a 71 rated player his entire career cause he already arrived at his potential..
That's the case for your Alex Ejiofor after you lowered his potential to 70..

So the important thing to look at if you're looking for the player of the future is the "potential difference", I mean the difference between Potential and the Overall Rating..
The higher the "potential difference" is the higher chance the player will progress year by year..
Let's say for example:

A player with an overall rating of 75 and a potential rating of 75
A player with an overall rating of 60 and a potential rating of 75
Both are 19 years of age..
Who will be the better player at age 28?

You might say of course the 75 rated player is better, but no your wrong..
After 8 years or so the 75 rated player will still be 75 or maybe 77 the most but the 60 rated player will be 80-85 by that time..
If you don't believe me you try it..

Therefore, if you want to create a steal or a bust, you should consider the potential difference..
Also, potential increases year by year (you already know that.) but not if his potential and overall rating is the same and if his 29+ years old.
The average potential increase is 2, 3 is rare but it happens, and 1 if your potential and overall rating is close in value..
The Overall rating boost in the off-season will greatly depend on the potential difference, if you have high potential difference like say 15 then most likely you will have a +7 rating boost.. 7 is the highest that I experienced..

And lastly, if you make the potential of a player lower than the overall rating, like say 60 potential and 75 overall rating, after a year the players potential will catch up to his overall rating and they will all be 75..
You can also use this if you want to manipulate a players draft range..
Hope this can help you improve your draft class.. and keep making one .. (Y)

actually this year I believe that potential is a static rating unlike other years 2k13, 2k12, etc. It is supposed to stay the same not fluctuate, I could be wrong but I think that is how it works

Not now, haven't got that much time to finish 1.2 of Year One (more cyberfaces, about 55 total + tweaked ratings).
I hope to release it next week.

The 7th draft class will take a while before it's released. I'm in need of cyberfaces makers and right now i'm updating my classes to 55 cyberfaces each, so every player counts. To release updates of Year 1 and 2, i'm waiting for Vlad tool next update where you can edit DC.

SO :

- in need of cyberfaces makers
- Year One and Two updates soon
- Year Seven not that soon

Man i love your draft classes. currently using year one and two for my association. Hope you can still continue to this upto year 10 and so forth. I would like you to have some superstar calliber that is more lighter. I find it that almost of the superstar calliber are in darker colors. not to be racist or so, but I find it that all of my starting 5 are mostly composed of black players and most the leagues. thank you so much for this great work of yours.

Is it okay if I use these CFs for players in the NCAA mod who don't have CFs made for them? Would greatly appreciate it.

I'm interested in helping in some capacity with year 7... I have a few cyberfaces that are the Adult versions of the Highschoolers in the HS mod. I will probably try to put together a compressed folder with all the files and try to get them to you once I figure out how I want to go about this. As of now I atleast have 3 CFs that I definately want you to add for year 7
