Oh, see I was looking at your list at the bottom of the 1st post in this topic, where you named each team and their associated court file name. One of them was listed as "f011.iff - New Orleans Hornets". I think it's supposed to be Pelicans.

As far as the v3 packs, yeah I did because I'm about to start playing the game, and I figured something was better than nothing, and there were a few that weren't available by themselves as a v6 or v5 so I grabbed them from their respective packs. I figured I'll replace them as you release them.

And about the order you choose to do the courts, I actually work the same way when it comes to stuff like that. Courts / Arenas, Player / Team audio, etc, in any sports game. For example, in the MLB: The Show series, in Road to the Show Mode, I would do the custom audio related to the players / teams that my team was about to play, such as batter walk-up music or HR celebration tunes.

1 - the shoe marked dirty paint is not for all's taste
2 - please connect the wood template there are some spots on the wood textures where the wood pattern are not connected specialy in the Brookly floor, but found it on the new Chicago as well (try to use a seamless)
3 - the colours are still way off

i'm not mad don't worry.
1. i know but i like em, i think it gives more realism. Plenty other court makers do court without footprints so no problem you have choice to take someone else work.
2. No i won't .. this is way too much work. This is due to the playoff spot square that use his own texture for the floor. this mean it don't get overlapped by the main texture from the center logo used to cover the court but starts a new pattern on his own. Matching those two are almost impossible( or yes it is possible if you have 5 hours to kill to match 2 pixels together) I don't think it is a real problem as often on court there are parquet squares that are replaced bescause more used than the other and this is the price to pay to have a dynamic playoff display. This technique minimize the CPU/GPU work without forcing the computer to calculate each single pixel and work with repetitive texture and that's why i give up iamlilard's technique which is not accurate on lines and uses way more graphic processor to render court.
3. Same as point 1. plenty other modders do great job and uses other colors. I won't start again this neverending topic about ppl like warm, broadcasted, real, cold, mid cold colors. to have the real color you need to sit on the court and then you can tell they match..... I do it as i feel comfortable with and if that means some ppl don't agree my choice they are free not to use it. I can show you 5 pics of the madison square garden. 5 time you will have another color so what is the real color? I hope you get my point.

i'm doing that for fun, because i have time to spend, because i think this really enhance the game, now if some ppl think this is not good or it don't match their taste i can respect that my aim is not to rule the world of modding, just try to bring a personnal touch in what i think improves the game. If you don't think so don't use, do your own. I posted a complete tutorial on how to do it you can go ahead and do it with your own color. I even can share psd & all vectorized logo no problem just ask i'll be pleased to share experience and techniques.

But hey utp1985, you don't like my colors it is the fifth time you come to say it... it is ok i get it.. what do you exaclty try to achieve i don't go in your post telling you how to do every two week so what's the point of coming again and again with the same, i'm not mad but i must say you are a bit annoying don't you think ?

Basicly I agree with stoeck's answers.
I could add some my personal observations.

1) Shoes marks in the paint. I would give strong 10/10 for idea.
Alongside to good idea it was well executed too.
Quality - Ok, creativity - Ok

One more point to this.
None of the modders introduced anything close to what sctoeck did with the paint
Furthermore, if I not lie, he is the only one who makes his own map-relief textures which are worth something
He is way ahead there.


2) It was a pretty decent effort to bring Playoffs to the floor within '14 method ealier this year.
While critics to connect parquet more accurately is understandable, lucky for us this minor innacuracy does not spoil general quality level (at least to me). Hey, we do not live in perfect world. I feel it is still very acceptable and I still would rate 10/10 for most parquets


3) I already wrote some words regarding colors few times here.
This is more about personal taste. I prefer warm colors instead the bright ones, but I can not blame stoeck if his nature is more coloreful.
As from V5 and V6 i find colors from good to superb for >90% of floors,

All in all considering QUALITY + VOLUME + CREATIVITY, i rate stoeck No.1 with stadiums for 2k14.
This is not for competition. This is to name the right guy to whom other young modders could align

As you say this is absolutely not a competition (at least for me), i just put my idea in my courts and share to the community but i must say this complaining stuff is a bit annoying. I mean i can find plenty ppl starting modding and doing approximative stuff, i don't go to their topic and complain. If i don't like what they do i just walk away. As you say this little displacement is a bit annoying and i agree with that, but fixing this is to much time and don't worth it, it litterally piss me off to launch 55 times the game to move from one pixel to one pixel a piece of the court as the result is for me far acceptable and i don't get paid for that so...

i don't follow the amaroade story i just see he stops sharing, i can understand that, when you spend sometimes more than one full day on something and ppl who do nothing just come to complain, i must say it is a bit annoying even if critism is constructive i agree, telling 5 times the same thing isn't.... my work is not perfect but hey, if you don't like an article in a store you don't buy it & , you don't write a letter to the manufacturer to say "dude your color is not good, make it more blablablabla".
