Skin is oily which creates that look even when dry.

Yes it does, not really a wet look, at some angles the shines are minimum, but there are shines

Absolutley. We are in agreement. You can see it very clearly in both our pics.
I wrote that it does create white reflection on the skin. Perhaps you misread does as doesn't?

I think it's kinda weird when players don't have any shine, maybe you could add minimum shines rather than make it all gone.
Because even at the start of the game, player skin will have some shine at some parts due to the lights in the stadium.
Just give some opinion

I thought your dedication global beta with no shine on they're bodies at the start of the game is absolutely perfect. Especially as you see the sweat progress through the game and then it creates shine on the players bodies which is the way it's supposed to be. The only things that should be tweaked I'd say should be : i) sweat appear sooner (5/6min into the 1st qtr in 10/11/12min qtrs) ii) The visual appearance of the sweat itself. Looks kinda low res on they're shoulders... Ps.. For people who see the no shine on the face unrealistic in game should first take a look what ENB and/or Sweetfx they are using as it might be the problem.I use crystal clear enb and olny to make my HD courts be HD and not blurry (new iamlillard HD courts with new 4096 px textures) and im telling you it all looks great.... pss. Great job Cam

With the release of v0.2 I restored the lighting previously included in my global, I'm lookin for more of an in-between for the official release.Medevenx wrote:I like the Tight Jersey Mod! I'll have all players without undershirts in v0.5 when RED MC gets released
Awesome man, I can't wait as I've been manually removing them from players I see here and there lol. The thing about Undershirts is they're bugged to begin with, so I know I welcome that change!bhilogy wrote:Btw, just wanna ask you my friend, where did you get your Shumpert CF? im still using Amarowaade's Flat top version and i can't seem to find a good one without the tops
I'm using a modified version of R4zoR's Iman Shumpert. Here's the link from his thread

I agree on how the light appears as it really isn't extremely harsh. That's what I was going for with the original BETA but it is lacking some light that is seen. I use Crystal Clear ENB alone as well and I feel it's the best fit for the global.Arius wrote:Arena lighting does create white reflection on the skin, even at the start

You're correct, though that picture's misleading as the light created is from the players heads facing upwards opposed to being in natural position. It's there, just not as harsh as it is in that tipoff picture.dGenius wrote:Yes it does, not really a wet look, at some angles the shines are minimum, but there are shines
Yea I agree there are minimum shines at most. I'm going for more of a look such as that.Moazam wrote:I love the globals man, best I've ever used. STILL WAITING ON THEM BLACK MC SUITS THOUGH.

Thanks man, the black suits I have to find the right texture for I thought the textures been there but maybe it was coaches suits idk. The T-shirt is layer 547.iPenny24 wrote:thanks

Scroll up I posted it. But, so you don't have to do any extra work, here:
Dedication Global: Normal Sleeves + Cam's Lower Body Edits BETA + v0.2
Updated 12/5/2013 11:55 AM EST
Alright guys just a little check-in of things that I plan on including in the official release both confirmed and unconfirmed/hopeful
Confirmed:
~New Ankle Brace Texture (no more faulty Adidas ankle brace)
~New Ankle Wrap Texture (Maybe a vote of what you guys would like in that slot?)
~Sixers85's TNT Textures Implemented to go with his Regular Season mod + new TNT scoreboard that was just released
Unconfirmed:
~Real finger straps as seen in next-gen and real life (need to work out the kinks in Blender)
~SJ's AC4 Global Base (SJ's announced that he plans on retiring) hope he changes his mind![]()
Looking for suggestions of improvements for the official release, textures, body mods, etc. REALISTIC improvements of things actually seen in the NBA today, not nike elite stuff, etc. etc. I'm looking to improve things to keep a standard of realism throughout.
I have another project planned for you guys soon, will announce more details later

denas wrote:It's hard to find anything more you can doThe only thing that tiny bit bothers me is the elbow pad, which looks ugly in nba 2k, Other than that everything is as good as it can get. Maybe improve the texture of the coaches suits if it's within the global or something idk tbh

Arius wrote:Cam, I was wondering if it's possible to make it so the in-game models are used for players on the sidelines and ones substituted out. It would also fix that glitch where the models are changed before they even walk back to the bench.
I know 2K does it for performance reasons but with modern computers I don't see why all the full-res models can't be stored in the ram at the same time, unless it's a limitation of their last-gen game engine...
