In fact they had it made earlier.

Actually, every team has a Christmas jersey design. It was even leaked on May or earlier I think. But I don't know anyone who makes jerseys. Oh well. Thanks btw :D

What do you use? Default ones?


I use the default 2K scoreboard logos, but I updated a few of them (those that needed updates) myself.

I believe you're talking about the Christmas Jerseys that are also included in NBA Live 16's latest update, right? As much as I would like these jerseys, they are more of a fictional addition (I try to stay away from this as much as I can) which I do not want to have jersey modders to exert effort on. Perhaps if someone had already made all of them in a single pack, I would be welcome to add them to the roster if they would allow it.

This post made me wonder. Does the ai ever play 2-3 zone, 3-2, 1-3-1? Seems like the only defense they do is man to man & full court press(if they trail).

Apparently not, although I do get rare instances (I mean VERY rare) in MyCareer where the CPU (my team) sets a 2-3 zone. I've never encountered the CPU doing this.

Not sure if it was Med's roster though.

Yeah that happens to me as well sometimes. I did find a way to avoid this though by not sprinting. Its because if you sprint this causes your defender to sort of push you a bit which might get you out of bounds.

I suggest to just casually walk/jog across the court, they might push you a bit with contact but it won't be enough to get you over the line. And if they try to steal the ball, just pass it to the closest teammate.

How do you know? The formation kind of looks the same. Wonderin if there are sliders for this.

I like the frustration the ai causes on this one.
It just becomes scripted in close games - to make your opponent catch up.

There is a parameter in the Coach Profiles named "Zone Usage" and any value will trigger it. Even a value of 5 to 15 triggers it and not every team uses the zone (it's probably used less than 1% of the time in the NBA).

You can set it in the Coach Profiles to whatever value you prefer for any of the teams.

Posting up to protect the ball and spinning around is good for crossing the court.

I really like playing on a difficult setting. I want to be playing all out while also trying to be realistic with it (not one of those 82-0 kinds of players, you know what I mean)

Apparently the 76ers waived Christian Wood and signed Elton Brand.

I also updated my gamedata file's referee outfit with the texture file from NBA 2K16 because I couldn't find anyone that made it.

Med's NBA 2K14 Gamedata Released

This gamedata primarily features the new NBA Referee Uniforms that are the officially used uniforms of NBA referees starting with the 2015-2016 NBA season. Originally using the gamedata texture files from NBA 2K16, I realized that NBA 2K16 didn't really have accurate referee uniforms. The colors were off and weren't really accurate. After collaborating with Raden 2K, we were able to make a more accurate referee uniform with the colors corrected and overall design correct. The NBA logo & corrected Adidas logos have been implemented in this file, replacing the original file. The other textures and items in the gamedata file, such as the referee cyberfaces, controller icons, rim net, etc. are all from the default NBA 2K14 global. Basically, this only updates the NBA referee uniforms. If you want to implement this in your own personal NBA 2K14 gamedata file, feel free to export the textures and import them into your own gamedata file.

Dude download redmc(free).. Then you will be able to find out ids of all players...
Or check Universal cyberfaces Id list by med.

Is it too much to ask if you can upload another version with the playstation controller icons tweak?

I have a question, do you know how to make more ball movement occur in the game?

Such as Spurs and Hawks, their players always passing the ball until they find an open shot, can we adjust the playbook or tendency to achieve that?

I personally don't use that. You can always import the Play Station controls from that gamedata file into this one.

It's related to a number of parameters, player tendencies, coach tendencies & profiles, playbooks & sliders.
