It was going to be too much work to re-edit every season so I decided to go through the players that were given templates before (which was A LOT of players) and give them career ratings/tendencies or versions. Instead of editing 15,000 players, it's only 700 players. Much easier. I have less than 400 players left to go through. Once I get done with that portion, I'm going to tweak play types and sig skills.
Editing 15,000 players while working two jobs, having a family, and overseeing a ministry was just too much.
I'm also trying to convince Sko to make a bunch more retro seasons. Put some heat on him

I've completely redone the offensive and defensive awareness ratings (thanks to WithAuthority/Amber for the help!), raised the speed/quickness for point guards, lowered the speed/quickness for PF/C, edited stamina so simulations will be more accurate, edited consistency and potential, edited post tendencies for all players, tweaked play types for all players, tweaked freelance tendencies, tweaked signature skills based on ratings/tendencies and minutes per game (only players who played 20mpg or more have sig skills), and made sure ALL players have either career ratings/tendencies or versions that display career arcs. I have probably added 300-500 versions of players out of 2700 total players in this update alone.
I also did more research into Isolation plays to determine which ones work and which ones didn't. I will include isolation plays into playbooks and players who deserve them will have isolation play types, also.
This is going to be a MASSIVE UPDATE.

One question: it seems like it's focused on the quick games, but how about The Association players? One post on this thread brought the fact that maybe the trades on that would get a little lopsided, since overalls don't mean as much as they did on the original game, but the game itself uses overall and potential to evaluate a trade.
If it is indeed focused just on the quick games, season or playoffs, I understand.

That's where I will need feedback from the community. Remember, I edited the primary ratings that made the overalls in this project lower than 2k's system (offensive and defensive awareness) and I've reworked potential for all players. This should lead to significantly different (sometimes higher and sometimes lower) overall ratings which should lead to 2k's AI handling transactions more intelligently. However, if you see crazy transactions happening, let me know and I'll fix it.
I'll give you some examples of players who had those three ratings change. All examples are players from the Ultra roster (the best teams from each franchise).
