Then I might not do this, no point in helping the creation of the mod if I myself cannot play it. Sorry. Good Luck though (Y)

Yeah I actually can do that- I just have TONS of updating to do in terms of your UBR roster, lol. I only have V7 :?
BUT, I think I'll release my own separate roster but add my teams into UBR anyway. I'll try to make them both UBR and Medevenx' friendly.

Haven't made much progress lately. But the team I'm currently occupied with- the Oklahoma City Blue- don't have any jerseys. Anybody care to patch together some jerseys?

Are you setting up the roster to play with the current NBA roster?

That's why coming out with a mod is not easy and I think people want to make a name for themselves, but when they see all that's involved, things can quickly fade. I have a busy schedule, but I'm always willing to help where I can, especially since guys like you Jaosming, bigh0rt, R4zoR, Juan23, MGX, RayHoops, TGsoGood, retroman, kahoona, and a number of others have significantly helped shape the modder that I am. It's all about direction and where does it fit in.

JAWS, we just need to know where you want to go with this. It's all about structure. Most times when I'm creating a mod, I'll make the majority of the art before I even have a solid roster in place so that later on, I can just fill in the blanks. Question: which roster are you going by as far as the D-League, the one that immediately comes up when you go to a team's website? I'm proud of you though. Keep it up.

UBR compatible, yes. But basically, my own roster, tendencies, ratings, coach ratings.. Perhaps if you guys were fine with it, I'd even go as far as to copy over stats and the schedule (which I still need to do). With Developmental League teams as an added bonus. I'm going by the roster that immediately comes up on the team's websites, yes. But I'm putting in the NBA prospects that were assigned to said team- for example, Roy Devyn Marble on the Erie Bayhawks & the Orlando Magic, or Kyle Anderson being on the SA Spurs in addition to the Austin Spurs. In some cases- such as Vander Blue and Jamaal Franklin- they will be cloned to their respective D-League team while staying on their current NBA team. Wherever the player has spent the majority of the year, that's where they'll be. So while guys like David (?) Stockton will be on the Sacramento Kings, he will also be on the Reno Bighorns as well. It'll just be a cloned version.
The roster is INDEED having both NBA teams and D-League teams. Reason this works:
I create D league player. For example (and simplicity) let's go with John Bohannon. So when I'm finished creating, I assign him to a team temporarily. I assign shoes, then I drop Bohannon into the FA pool, like so:
Image
Then swapping into create-a-team, I clone Bohannon. This is the D-League version of Bohannon. I switch over to the Bayhawks, and meticulously edit his ratings and tendencies. After that, I run a quick association test- check his averages and see if they're correct. I do the minutes to match his season average, etc.

Quick little bump already.. While big things like sponsorships underneath the numbers are definitely out of my skills, I can do the little logos like the Adidas on the right shoulder of the OKC Blue jerseys.. Example here on Semaj Christon and Richard Solomon. Ignore the crappy headband color, it's a placeholder for now.

The good thing about sponsorships and such is that stuff can be pulled from the internet and placed onto the jerseys easily.

I've noticed that actually. I have gotten the Adidas logo + the other sponsor for the OKC blue onto the jersey. The next bridge I have to cross is getting the correct stripes around the collar and the sides of the jersey. I have physical labor to do unfortunately so my progress may be stalled for awhile. In addition to that, I'm failing a class and I really gotta get my grades up. So progress will be made, but not as fast as I wish it was.

Not much of an update, but I did re-size the Continental logo/writing on the away jersey- before they were covered at the top by the jersey number. Even tho screenies don't show it, I also did change the Adidas right shoulder logo from white to black.

Use that good ol' internet because it's your best friend. Even mine aren't perfect, but what I learned from bigh0rt is to make a template, adding layer by layer so I can easily move, resize, and adjust things as needed. Once you get the first jersey/short team down, the rest should come a little easier. The jersey type for the collar is "1".

Nice Rich. Think that's what I'll end up doing as soon as I have more time honestly.

While I may not be able to compete with RICH's home jersey- the changing of "Thunder" to "Oklahoma City" would probably be sloppy if I did it, I think I got the away jersey done pretty well.
I can't upload pics right now, but let me say I think I did good considering this was my first ever attempt at jersey patching.
Credit goes to GeneriC, as made those amazing Oklahoma City Thunder jersey patches which I have in turn used as a base for the Away jerseys.

All I do is type in Google "oklahoma city blue logo or wordmark, etc." then go to "images". Its really that easy.

Well well well.. I take it back. Won't have time for this until late this evening, but I shall see what I can do. But here's some screens of what I finished last night.

For the side logos on the shorts, two things are important to remember:
1) They get horizontally stretched, so to counteract that, horizontally squish side logos and stripes by about 20-25%. Once you do it a few times you'll get a feel for how much to squish. Now I just eyeball it.
2) Because of the cut in at the bottom of shorts, you've got to move things up. See how the OKC logo is cut off at the bottom? Move both it, and the corresponding adidas side stripes (on both sides, for balance), up, so that everything fits nicely. Otherwise, things end up looking weird, because some shorts in real life don't have that cut in, but all shorts in 2K do.

You're coming along nicely with this.
