I'll post some screenshots with and without ENB so you guys can esily see the difference and how the environment appears a big unique thing. Don't know if i can explain correctly...

Also be sure to watch the video in HD, cause at lower res it's easy to see the haze as video artifacts... :)
Thank you all again for your considerations and the kind words.

Yes, i watched the video but i'm perhaps too old to see any difference

Have you work on DOF for your effect ?

BTW thanx for the answer Pika, i wait 'til the release.

FROWARDAXL83,
Thank you :)
Sixers85 and Bliss are doing wonderful jobs for the stadiums. Sixers for TNT, Bliss with local dornas. The video shows the Bliss' version with stoeck's court (still in beta).
There are at least two threads with only dornas so you really have a pretty wide choice! :)

GloryD,
i can't guarantee, but i think it will run easily on every pc that runs NBA 2K14

buddaking,
wow! Your pc is a monster i guess! (Y) Don't worry, right now i'm working on the right fell in all the stadiums (at least the best i can) and once i accomplished this i'll release a high version in wich i can throw in higher quality for haze, occlusion, any kind of filter ENB adds. Anyway i'll add only what is right for the main purpose and it's actually usefull and on spot. I'm not going to fill up the whole thing with tons of filters and ultra unreal sharp edges or whatever.

AirAaron32
try to reinstall CCC... sorry, really don't know what else i could suggest, asi i'm using Nvidia right now.

sticky-fingers,
ah ah you'll se the difference in the video below here :D so you're not so old hopefully ;)
DOF is untouched right now, so it's 2k original. It's all enbpalette and bloom. But i'm looking for it, too if necessary.

Keep in mind everybody that i don't want a visible haze in the strict term. Haze is a perception, is something you know it's there but you can't really spot. Nobody can spot dust microparticles and relative light reflections, but everyone can "see the presence".
You can't see the haze, you can see the result.

Here is the ON/OFF video.
Of course it's always easier to notice by playing live, but i think it's easy to see difference anyway

phpBB [video]

As usual, thanks everybody for helping. :chug: I'm waiting for your thoughts...

Sorry Pika...saw your latest video. It's still just blur. I wish someone could take the stadium feel from last year and just fix the way it looks on the top rows of the stands. I'd be quite happy with that.

Thanks for whatever help you guys could give me trying to get this anisotropic thing to work , But I found out my card (AMD Radeon HD 7670) isn't actually compatible with CCC for whatever reason. Strange indeed.
But I can't wait for your ENB to be released, I was waiting for a haze-like enb since 2k13.

stielar,
that's not blur at all. I don't know why you see this as blur (depth of field)... this is a gentle color fading.
I think i'll release the alpha version soon, so you can try it. Whatever, i hope you find what you're looking for. :)

AirAaron32, wait till tomorrow (it's evening here) and you'lll try it

AirAaron23: Try using RadeonPro. Its a 3rd party alternate to CCC.

Also, maybe just try downloading the latest version of CCC. Could be the newest version works.

thank uou very much! :) The alpha is coming...

iamravegfx,
you're right i forgot to mention! That's the "new net with knots" mod by michaelvlutz49. You can find it here: viewtopic.php?f=153&t=93815&p=1675838
I'll update the first post. Keep in mind that the "no icon version" is bugged: on offence when you press lb or circle for a playcall or a pick'n'roll, icons over player are replaced with a white flash.

ENB + SweetFX- arena haze effect alpha v0.4 preview

Postby Pika on Sun Jan 05, 2014 11:34 pm

I've improved a lot the feeling, by adding ENB occlusion and SweetFX vibrance and LiftGammaGain

phpBB [video]

FPS drops due to videocapture

Soon i'll release this version so you can try it.

sticky-fingers,
maybe your monitor saturate colors too much? I don't know... As i said it's not something you got to see, it's something you should "feel".
Personally i'm very satisfied with the effect of spaciality and 3d environment that gives to the arenas.

Video preview with -scarface-'s Heats court (a "dark" court)

phpBB [video]

Lost some quality due to youtube and FPS drops due to videocapturing.
Next video featuring Rockets "bright" court is coming and will have better quality

Seems like less of a Haze and more of a high bloom effect but that's just what I saw from the video could be different in game

Rockets, brighter court

phpBB [video]

DMavs, thanks appreciate it :)

GloryD, bloom is really minimum and soft, it's the fading palette and ambient occlusion that do most of the job. No blur at all and default DoF. I'll release it soon, anyway... :)

Now it's more visible than before but the problem is that it fades also every other aspect of the graphics and not only the background. This feels more like outdoor haze than stadium haze, stadium haze is above the players and the baskets not in front of them so ingame it should appear in front of the crowd but behind the players. That's why I doubt a proper stadium haze effect can be achieved wih enb or sweetfx.

stielar, video doesn't show the real quality, i've got to mess with captures setting i guess... :turrible:

Look at these pictures

default - with arena haze

Image Image

Image Image

Do you see Howard doesn't lost quality or definition? Look at the puppet, too. Their darker spots just gently fading, while the environment is more heavily faded (just like there's a lot of space between the crowd and my eyes). There's no detail loss, it's just perception...

combined images
default | arena haze | default

Look, it's easier to catch the haze watching the crowd rather than the court or players.
