It's already in progress. Our Chinese modders are currently busy with travel.

is it possible if you can create a roster consisting of teams representing their continents? ex. fiba asia.ros , fiba americas.ros , fiba eurobasket.ros , fiba afrobasket.ros and fiba oceania.ros? but as far as i know there must be 30 teams for each continents so that we can play it on MC or assoc. right? i think you can do it..you just consolidate the teams that are lacking on each continents..thank you..great job as always.

Look, everyone got rated much higher in the next update. Nobody is below 70 now and everyone plays just a bit better.

I have one question: is there any way that you can make longer hair for Samad Nikkhah Bahrami please? In this mod his cf is amazing but his hair looks much shorter than in real life

Also do you plan on make other Asian teams to have a better FIBA Asia experience?

We're going to add ALL of the teams. Don't worry. We'll probably get a new Bahrami cyberface in the next update. Here are some teams I can confirm that are updated in FIBA v4.0:

Angola, Egypt, Senegal, Nigeria
France, Germany, Lithuania, Serbia, Spain
Argentina, Canada, Venezuela
China, Chinese Taipei, Iran, Korea, Japan, Philippines

We're going to add ALL of the teams. Don't worry. We'll probably get a new Bahrami cyberface in the next update. Here are some teams I can confirm that are updated in FIBA v4.0:

^ I agree, I think that this must be the best FIBA mod that I've ever played TBH, the quality and depth is pretty amazing, even "smaller" teams are given attention. If we get to see even more teams from different continents then this is going to be even more of a masterpiece

Thank you for your kind words. I definitely want to make an impact with the whole international 2K community with my contributions to FIBA 2K. Also, you can't be inducted to a Hall of Fame if you're not yet retired.

The ratings are SO much better in v4.0 and with the addition of some new teams and new courts, etc. We are definitely going to have a LOT more fun in v4.0.

The more I gain insight into the mod the more impressed I am. Even the most unknown players have quality cyberfaces, correct shooting forms e.t.c. It is a perfect remake of the World Cup (with the courts and all). It almost looks as an official 2k release. When the update will be released I will also keep a copy of this first 3.1 edition to have a World Cup perfect game experience whenever I want to play it

This is probably the first quality and quantity mod I've handled.

Not to worry, v4.0 will still have the 2014 World Cup roster. We're just updating the 2015 Zone rosters for v4.0. We've also tweaked the ratings in v4.0 for both 2014 World Cup AND 2015 Zone so it will be much better now. After we make all of the courts for the 2015 Zone rosters (Tunisia, Mexico City, Europe, Changsha, Oceania) we will assign all of the Spain courts to all teams including the expansion teams in the 2014 World Cup rosters. In the 2015 Zone rosters, we will also alphabetize the teams after all have been updated.

Not to mention that we also had the Head AND Assistant Coach cyberfaces made with the same quality as the player cyberfaces.

Unless this is something being reported by many users (which it doesn't appear to be), the issue is generally on the end of the user in instances like this, with clashes with other mods, etc. If this is happening with many others, then it's something that can be troubleshot within the mod, but if it's only crashing for you, then the issue is likely on your end.

Thanks to all of your comments! It means a lot to us. The structure of the modding team for FIBA 2K is quite similar to what we have going for PBA 2K (which is basically just me begging for the cyberface, jersey and court modders to make art files and send it to me while I make boring parts such as the rosters, compatibility, file uploading, posting, portrait updating, etc. I'm also glad it's going well and the team is getting along really nicely. It's also a miracle how no two members of the modding team accidentally made the same player's cyberfaces. Everyone was very synchronized with their modding assignments that there was no overlapping or anything.

Overall, I'm excited to receive the files from Makis' Euro mod for FIBA 2K14 v4.0's EuroBasket updates.



Expect a fully updated AfroBasket & EuroBasket in v4.0. Then we can proceed with other American and Asian roster updates. Optimistically, I hope we can get all of the new courts done for v4.0. I personally don't have the time to work on this during the weekdays. But I always go overdrive when it's the weekends to work on all of the mods I've been handling.
