Not 100%. I remember asking exrxixxx this question. I do not remember the answer entirely but I remember him saying it isn't entirely accurate.

If you mean those "txt" that you can see exploring the file with hex editor, then yes and no.
There are are several hundred of those "txt" in the file. Particulary "txt" is only a note, a guide that above ""txt" is data that describes all possible info about it (sizes, colors, postions, shaddows, transparencies, widths, heights, hyperlinks, etc.)

There are no any texts in newscorebug.iff file.
That file only has hyperlinks to the texts which are located in other files (english.iff, roster files.)

Newscorebug has information how all texts will be displayed on screen, but is not responsible for the content.

1) I meant txt sorry about that
"txt" is only a note in file that has no influence to any data. You may substitute "txt" to "fuc" as example and nothing will happen.

2) One more thing, are the values from 2k12 scoreboard the same with 2k14
NBA2K12, '13 and '14 files are constructed from the same root. There are added and deleted some stuff from the file year to year..
As exapmle "Home team ID" is the same in all '12 '13 '14 editions, but offset for it differs from year to year because files are expanded with some new date and some other stuff is excluded

exrxixxx, sent u a PM but I didn't realize ur no PM request.

Anyway, here is my request...

Can you change the thing at the bottom of the espn scoreboard and make a Conf Semis scoreboard? Also, I found some flaws in JoeJames scoreboards and he has been inactive in his scoreboard thread. Flaw #1 - Fonts in the scoreboard do not match fonts in real life. Flaw #2 - The text is not centered in any of the scoreboards. I saw the NBA Finals scoreboard was posted on NBA2K.org and the text was not centered. Can you please fix the flaws and make the Conf Semis ESPN Playoff Scoreboard? Thanks.

Is exrxixxx still active on this thread? Ik he said he wouldn't make anymore mods but is he gonna at least answer our questions or fix a few flaws and bugs?

Dear Smoove784439, if you found some inaccuaries in JoeJames scoreboards, logically, I have nothing to do with this.
I am sure mine ESPN v2 and v3.0 both works well.
