In your case, i've already succeed to recover many files. Not from Windows (because, Windows can't mount hard drive with errors) but boot from DVD/USB with Ubuntu or Redo backup, mount "dead" hard drive and copy files.
But you need luck (sometimes, it don't work) and skills.

i dont know linux stuff, but i want to try with software named Hiren? maybe u hear something positive about this ? its bootable cd.

btw sko, how far is first version of URB 2k14? i cannot play this game without your mod, so i'm thinking of uninstalling it 'till UBR 2k14 is out, to spare disc space on my hdd which is quite low lately

i have bigger problem right now, today morning my hdd with all photos(ALL) and some other stuff is gone. my 3years old WD Elements 3,5" 1.5TB( it was so expensive for me!!!) just dissapeared. I try to connect into other pc, laptop...nothing, i cant see him even in bios, i hear hdd try to work but still nothing. Do you guys know how much will cost recovery of data? Maybe some software can help me? My wife is f furious. Whole year, day after day photos of my son, trips, 10 years of life of photos is gone. Bad luck this year...

also, i think only professionals can recover data from broken HDD. those guys have professional tools for such things.

Call the WD Hotline in your country and see what they can offer to you. 100% sure they can recover it, just don't know how much it would cost you. Maybe you can swap it for a new HDD with a discounted price if they recycle them? Not sure.

i didnt mention about this public i think, but i just contact with recovery lab in my city, it can cost 4xprice of new hdd, but it can cost even 80xprice of new hdd.

Try shaking it after you plug it in your PC. A friend of mine once had that kind of issue. It's like the motor kinda needs help on start. If it didn't work, then your last option is repair. Just hope it's not totally dead.

the most funny thing is that disc whole 3 years lay in the same place, without moving anywhere...sick. Last two days i spend on trying everything possible for normal user. Last chance is buying the same hdd and switch electronic plate.

Losing a lot of data is one of the sickest feelings man. i got 2 external WD hard drives and i was having problems a couple of months ago with one of them, man i was sick to my stomach as i had a few yrs of movies,photos,music,mods and etc on it.Luckly i was able to get it working and once i did i went out and got a new HD and made a complete duplicate and put it up for safe keeping. It would be a whole lot cheaper to buy another HD and back it up then to have a professional try and recover your data in which you would have to buy another HD anyway to transfer the data they try and recover. Most softwares havent worked for me, alot of the files were corrupted when i tried to recover with software. I lost a lot of data on my cpu hd before when i had to do a complete reinstall of my windows when i had a problem with my cpu i couldnt get rid of (virus) and thats what made me go out and buy a external hd, it just never crossed my mind that i would have a external go bad. Having a complete back up put up makes for a lot less worrys. I just have to much media data that cant be replaced. I hope things work out for you sko.

If you are new user of U R Basketball project and you're interested only in 2015/2016 roster you must download all parts for current 2016 roster and remember to download part 7 only for 2k14. But If you are U R Basketball user from 2k13 and you still have zip parts somewhere, all you have to do is download part 7 only for 2k14 and paste all files from all parts into main game folder. After this you must download 2K14 Rosters Files.
If you want to use URBandNCAA roster, you must download all retro parts. In near future all those files will be in use for 1985-2015 rosters, so you will be ready and all you have to do is wait for next rosters.

- New roster- 2016 Roster updated with last transactions [11.08.2015], contracts [11.08.2015], most accurate rotations/minutes, new jerseys, courts, logos, updated jerseys numbers and who knows what else...uhm added Toronto All Star court, jerseys- courtesy of johnywest1985. Whole roster with Slimm engine. Fully updated ratings, tendencies, sig skills, play types, coaching profiles, playbooks. 2016 roster is full of jerseys, i think i have something around 600-650 jerseys ids for current roster (probably all 1985-2016 jerseys are available) but whats more important there are also color accessories versions, so dont be surprised when you will see the same jerseys doubled, it means there is different accesories colors. All jerseys are set in home/away order, so if your team is on home side, first jerseys are home jersey versions. Same with away. Big thx Med for great idea and some jerseys files- i dont know who create them so credits to Med.

- New roster- its first roster like that- called URBandNCAA, including all decades franchise best teams + all 80's players in FA pool and.......30 best franchise college teams in one single file, without overwriting files, just load up straight from your game. All teams with accurate logos, jerseys, courts, stadiums, coaches. All players with accurate college jerseys numbers, all with accurate college time accessories, correct age and years pro, all with NBA rookie season ratings. I think this roster give you great chance to create interesting things, with 30 college teams we can start season for example. I also added team with players straight from high school. Bananas!
Roster with all decades franchise best teams. So we have 30 current teams, 30 teams from 2000's, 30 teams from 90's. ALL in ONE roster. FA pool is around 400 best players from 80's- whole roster is one big base of ALL players from this project. I dont have to repeat that all players running under Slimm engine, right? Idea of this roster its not just decade teams, i want to give you a chance to create whatever team you want and use players you really want to use. So please guys dont ask to change players or change between teams, its not a target of this roster. If you are 90's Raptors fan? you like logo, court, jerseys...here you go, use this roster for your favourite team with favourite players. Do what you want, this is why this project is U R Basketball

I would love to use your 2k14 but its conflicted with 2k13(stupid white square on shorts).
This jersey is from 2k13 ncaa mod, i doubt its your jersey, because its not even close with quality i see in your mod.
