I REALLY hope he hasn't passed on. I'm serious. We've lost modders in the past, I hope he's alright.

Was there something wrong with his health?

If you are going to take on the responsibility of a project AND announce it to the community, it might be polite to stay in touch with updates. Otherwise, don't even say anything and just announce the project when it's ready to be released.
Jacksonpm23 wrote:Can someone explain this to me? I put in the global and launch with TD2k14, it works fine. But The newer updates don't have stuff from the older updates? I don't get that. If I use the newest update, then I don't have nike elite socks. If I use the nike elite socks version, I don't get stuff from the newest one. Why not combine it into one? Or am I doing something wrong? Cause each one is just a global.iff I don't see how I could combine them..sorry I'm new to modding 2k outside of simple stuff
Nightfly67 wrote:Perfect example, how? How do you know what exactly happened? You're talking about politeness, you may want to learn what that word means first because it's obvious you don't. What if he has serious health issues and that's why he can't get online? I know this place would be the last thing I'd think about in that case.
I for one hope Cam is doing well and hope to see him back soon. I miss his great mods...

Even still, I stand by my post. It seems dumb to me to announce a project months prior to completion. I've been on OS and here long enough to see more projects than I can count get started, get people all excited, and then never actually get released. How about actually wait until a time frame is established for release (preferably no more than a couple of weeks) and THEN announce the project to the world.
I'm not without fault. I've done it before over on OS. And guess what? I learned from it. Don't count your chickens before they hatch as they say. Make the announcement when you are ready to actually release something.
Just advice. Cam, or anyone else for that matter, can take it or leave it. Not trying to be rude in the slightest.
Nightfly67 wrote:That's kind of the danger with things like this on the internet, we never know what might happen to someone in real life. I do however completely understand the core of your post, and I agree with you. Announcing project likes these months before planning on releasing it, often backfires. The smart thing to do would have something ready for release, and then build from there.
I just read over my post again, and I think I came off a little bit rude, for which I apologize!
