found this next gen (dont really like the extra sweat) face of Ewing.. Maybe nice base for a v2 ? ALso i found this larry Bird which i think is not standard ? I think in 1992 he didnt have a mustache so maybe that should be added to the roster of Skoa..

Thanks guys. I don't know... Maybe he looks weird in a Blender. But as for me, everything is not even bad. On this preview there are no changes with the face and head shape (texture only "hair" and cheeks - this is 1st ver!), I don't think I can make a better version

For me... this version (Lakers) is very very good. I think that in the other capture the problem is with the eye form. Take a view about. The head is correct. Only your change is in the eyes and i think that its for this reason.

It's okay for us to have preferences, and try and help the modder along. Maravich and I both agreed that something looked a little strange with his eyes on the previews.

I personally think overall your V2 of the Jazz Malone is really freakin good. You made adjustments to the texture, looks solid. Nice work!

Well , if we`re posting some cyberfaces we use, then this is the Ewing I use, first answer for "Ewing nba 2k14" in google hahahah. By the way, Malone for me looks good, icecr. Maybe is the fact you`re doing/comparing him with the Lakers version and not the Jazz version? IDK. On the other hand, in the 2nd preview you did for Nash, its pretty good. Maybe its just the program you use , hair looks darker that what it was, but still, is a very good 2nd preview, also in your last works I`ve seen you improve dramatically the cyberfaces, so I`m not worried about that ha.

Well, almost two months of continuous learning something new brought me to where I am now. And given the fact that I had not gotten this far in modding I am very pleased. But understanding that my level is still not high enough I decided to pause my current works a little bit and continue my skill improvement. I already see the direction to which I will move on. And those tests which I've managed to get me impressed. Already NOW I can say that the new works will be very different from what I did before. Thank you all guys!

Sounds great man. The fact you want to improve your work, even if you are doing a great one sounds pretty exciting . I will be checking the thread to see the things you're gonna do. Malone and Nash looks good now, so they will look awesome after this "offseason" hahahaha

I didnt post my pictures because of something you did wrong but more because i like the freeflow we had in the UBR forums back in the days. So, I think I'm ready to present the very first preview of the new version. This is the basis on which all further changes will be made. But now we can figure out where it's going. For me, it's a whole new experience and a whole new way of modding. So I think the release will launch a new thread, where I will continue to publish new works. There is still work to be done on improving and understanding the new method, so it is difficult to talk about release date projections. I once again express my gratitude to all of you.

great improvement !!! Some more highlights and shade was the thing that was needed !! Where i think u will be better then many others nowadays is using the right skincolour and not using to much shade and highlights. It seems like u are more for current gen type cyberfaces which many of the retro lovers in these forums also like. Great Stuff !!!

Thank You! At this stage, I would like to change the situation in retro modding. Most retro cyberfaces are more like painted pictures than natural faces. There is no goal to do the most detailed works, without fanaticism, just a little more natural. I hope that someday someone will be inspired by these ideas and will continue to do something new for this ageless game)

Well, I didnt expect a comeback so early hahaha. You're right, its not even old cyberfaces, 2k really sucked with cyberfaces. You can see 2k11; 2k12 still, great quality of cyberfaces. Just yesterday I was looking Carmelo rookie cyberface, 2k11 I guess, obviously in a mod. Or 2k12, I cannot remember. Really, it looked like it would be one of the best cyberfaces in 2k18, without any more detail than what it had. My ultimate respect for people like you, maravich, arguelles, mikee, ed2k, ec2k, rockprince, you really make a great difference in the game.


So much better Malone now.


Off-topic: Does somebody has a secret damn perfect cyberface of Kobe? Literally NONE of all the cyberfaces that appear in google images of a kobe in 2k13 or 2k14 convince me

Was thinking the same. We have an old forum, that made cyberfaces a long time ago in nlsc, but I think the last cf is from 2014. Then there is the nba 2k screenshots, but nobody ever post a link. Would be cool to have a thread where you can post any cyberface current/retro. Obviously, with the authors link , or the page of him, or whatever, not like stealing his work. I'm tired of seeing sick cfs with no link made by who knows who hahaha

Sounds awesome man!!! Hope we can find some gems in their work, would be nice that people just leave some links of modders.. (I'm pretty sure we didnt see ALL of the great work out there) I mean, after all, the only modders I know are still making cfs, besides icecr, maravich, and the ones doing for some mod, I could now only recall Arguelles, Ed2k, Ec2k, Mikee, Chasedown2k and rockprince23 from time to time. Oh, and Olen2k , its a shame so many people use passwords, not everybody uses/has facebook (for example me) and because of that, we lose some sick work. Its a damn shame. Also, the fact you said that it will have some retro cfs its awesome, theres not much out there.

A little preview of the finished work (more fixes for Late 90s version), it seems to do only the LAL version. At the moment, there is not enough time to do it, there are many other cases that need to be taken care of. I think by the weekend all will finish.

It is not yet clear how it will look, but I think that there is some potential. Try it, why not)
