I'm with Meds, if you need to refine black/white accessories color hopefully you not make them pure white & pure black, since pure black/white looks unreal, there will always be some gray due to the lighting, instead please make it natural white & black :D


(Y) I agree, right now I think sleeve's colors are great, if it's too dark / bright you can't really see textures and it looks weird.

Also i think there is something weird in the Carmelo screenshots as you can't really see the difference between his hair and the headband color, I dont know if it's your enb or what ( if you are using one )

Hey guys im having a problem with this. Any texture that is hd comes out extremely bad/weird looking. Anyone
know how to fix this???

edit: Actually the global isn't causing this but still nothing shows up how it should

edit2: nvm I fixed somehow my actual PC graphics properties were changed

I used this in NBA 2K13 and its only for normal body types. BTW Dedication Global is (Y) :)


I won't make hex pads that long for normal, skinny or muscular as not everybody that wears hex pads/sleeves has them past their calf. I can experiment with the 3D model in blender and potentially put those long hex pads/sleeves in place of the 3D model for leg sleeves as seen worn by Al Jefferson, etc. The only problem I fear is that socks may not be worn due to how the global is coded. I would essentially like to include them to emulate the picture posted earlier from next gen. An idea I have is to make the "Fat player" body type into the body type that will use those, as fat body type is only used by Glen Davis if I'm not mistaken, and every global maker just uses 2k's default fat body type because of this. The body will be a normal body base, just with the hex pads/sleeves seen in the picture you've provided. This means that roster edits would need to be made in Red MC, as any players that would wear those long tights/hex pads would need to be the new 'fat' body type. I myself could do the edits in Red MC to Med's roster, or if Med is willing to go with the idea he can make the edits, as we're making our work compatible with one another. I may however, have to release my own variation of Med's roster to use with the Next-Gen Arm Sleeved versions of my global as I'll be including the Adidas tech-fit arm sleeves, and Med won't be making the edits to accessories himself to convert all padded shooting sleeves to normal to use the non Adidas tech-fit texture I've created. So in turn, I may just have to make edits to the next roster I receive from Med w/ Jamp's shoe edits and release with the BETA of #TheReturn. Yeah the hex editing in combination with textures used for accessories will need to be tested and altered. In the version of the global I sent you, what do you think of the whites? With that base, I purposely used the texture I did to prevent excessive white/contrasted colors and deepened blacks with no sense of light actually hitting them.

The body modifications for #TheReturn are new and from the tests I've ran in practice mode they seem to be okay. Though I haven't done extreme in-game testing as I'm always making out of game edits. I'll try to ensure that the shoes are fixed in my lower body, I'm not sure how Lagoa's lower bodies work, and from what I know default bodies work fine. I heard a lot of complaints about shoes not having proper shadows. That complaint really annoyed me and honestly is the least of my worries when it comes to all of the factors that go into a global. It may be blunt but if you're distracted and perturbed by the shadows of feet on the court while playing a sports simulator, you're paying attention to the wrong things. Anyways, I hope to have everything working properly. Thanks for the support man (Y)

In the time I was away from modding for PC, I lead a project for next-gen that includes refined ratings and tendencies for the most accurate sim-stats, potential edits for proper progression, fully working play books, accurate coach profiles, real NBA paced basketball, with plays being run and smarter AI both for the CPU and user team players, as well as both 2014 and 2015 draft classes that I spent over 2 weeks watching countless hours of film and reading scouting reports to get the prospects created as accurate as humanly possible with full tendency and signature style edits that are mirror images of their real-life counter parts. It can be found here: Cam's Complete Roster Project if there were to be a high demand for my project, I could convert everything over to PC, but it would take some time to complete as the project itself includes about a month's worth of time that went into it.

I agree. If you do end up using the Hex pads that don't change colour, it'd be nice if you had 2 versions, 1 with the changing colours, and one without.

Thanks man, I believe physics edits must be made to the NBA.exe file opposed to the global. There was a tool released in the forums that actually does exactly what you're asking for, I forget the name and Author though, I would have to search the forums for it. If I find it I'll point you in the direction of it so you can download it and make said modifications to your NBA.exe to your liking.

You would have to either import the body N2KM into your private global using NBA2KX mod tool or edit the current bodies you use in Blender and re-import them. I assume since you have a private global you know how to import and export things from globals.

Glad you like what you see and are tuned in (Y) I currently am not using an enb, though in those screenshots was using an old headband texture from Lagoa's V4 or so, and it might just not be compatible with the base I'm using. I'll be sure to edit the test out some new textures to get things right. I'm thinking of creating a new texture, much like the medium sweat band to give it a much more consistent look and make it look less grungy and flat. (Y)

Yeah that was actually a picture edited in photoshop by a user that would like for me to make that edit. I can edit the texture for hex pads/sleeves to make the upper part that extends up to the thighs black and not change color, while the rest would change to simulate compression shorts, as in current gen the shorts and hex pads/sleeves won't be worn simultaneously. (To see proof of this, go to a team from the 70's and apply the 2 accessories at the same time, the compression shorts will disappear)

Not in particular, as I am putting more work into this global that has went into any global before. More new textures, 3D body modifications and accessory edits than ever before, in combination with perfecting the base to get the precise results I'm looking for. I would like to get a release to you guys as soon as possible, but I prefer to perfect as much as I can for you guys to test out rather than rush out an unfinished, inferior product

I'll explain what I'm going to be doing below.


Well guys thanks for all the feedback and support as always. There is a lot of things that need to be done and implemented so I'll summarize everything from the above replies and express my plans for the global now. For starters, I'm currently planning on using a custom base that will be hex edited from SJ's REIGN base to achieve both the effect of John Doe's flesh mod, while also taking maintaining the beloved features from REIGN. I've had some requests for accessories and such and they will all be included. For starters, Kitai asked for me to include the body from SJ's 2k13 global that had extra long hex pads, and I will do so but with some catches to it. An idea I have is to make the "Fat player" body type into the body type that Kitai requested, as fat body type is only used by Glen Davis if I'm not mistaken, and every global maker just uses 2k's default fat body type because of this. Since the N2KM for 2k13 is different it'll require some editing in Blender to get things working. Med has requested that I create the 2014 All-Star socks and use the texture under ankle wraps as he plans to have correct All-Star teams with all correct gear, so I'll be making that texture. These are the socks for those that may not be aware of what they look like:

I will be making a new headband texture based off of the sweat band texture worn on arms (medium band, high band, etc.) to create a better looking headband that will maintain natural color to differentiate from hair while not being over saturated. I will be creating a new ankle brace texture to match the braces worn by the likes of Stephen Curry. As I close the body modification poll, with 87 votes the top 4 vote getters that will be included are:

Lagoa Next-Gen Arm Sleeves: Cam's New Lower Body - Skinny legs w/ long hexpads & sleeves: 53
Lagoa's Next-Gen Arm Sleeves: Default Lower Body w/ long hexpads/sleeves: 10
Normal Arm Sleeves: Cam's New Lower Body - Skinny legs w/ long hexpads & sleeves: 10

On top of that, I was planning to create an Association Mos, starting from whichever day I have a finished roster that would include all up-to-date statistics, injuries, standings, records, and correct draft picks on each team. I'm not using his fleshmod as base, I've stated that already. I initially was shared a global with his fleshmod as base from a fellow modder but had no recollection of John Doe's flesh mod. I've seen his fleshmod is being used as base and redistributed by multiple modders, while giving full credit to JD for the base. I'm not going to be doing that though, I'll be working on my own base from SJ's REIGN as stated in post 1250. I will be dissecting and experimenting with the hex edits in attempt to imitate the effects as I respect him and his work. I'm an artist, and anyone who is an avid artist knows that you have every right to learn new things of your own creation through imitation. Imitation is the greatest source of flattery. If he feels as if he should be the only one in the world that can hex edit to achieve certain effects, and that his base is too holy for anyone else's use then that speaks volumes to his character. No disrespect towards him at all.

I know bro. I've addressed this multiple times, even when I posted previews in my thread. Though I have every right to use any base I desire for my own personal use, unless my god given right is revoked due to his wishes as he is deemed holier than I. I stated on multiple occasions that I will not redistribute his base to respect his wishes upon finding out to whom the base originally belonged to.

Lookin good bro! I'm curious to try it out if you don't mind sharing the textures and such. BTW like the way you made your previews :wink: , I love doing the rounded edge, drop shadow crop; makes previews look much more legit :P

is it really necessary wait for Med's roster to release your BETA? I mean, some people dont even use this roster and are complete interested ONLY in your global.

So as you said that are adding "More new textures, 3D body modifications and accessory edits than ever before, in combination with perfecting the base to get the precise results I'm looking for" isn't it possible release some "thematic" versions, even for getting a feedback of ours?

4 all of you guys,
who dont know that sweat flow can only be change by using HEX edits. if your using photoshop, your just editing the sweat pattern but not the amount of sweat..

agolden, he also uses sj sweat. he edited it using hex, he changed the values to put more amount of sweat in sj's reign global... but not in patterns.

I'll try out tat's base out, I'll have to ask if he's okay with me redistributing it. I know his base is hex edited for his experimental sweat and he uses an altered pattern and texture compatible with his hex edits to comply with the lighting, etc. etc.

It's necessary for me to receive Med's updated roster as the BETA I have doesn't have everything in it just yet. This is key as the major additions to the global will cause inaccurate gear for any roster and some things aren't accessible without the roster being tailored to do so. With that being said I also have things going on in real life that take time away from me being able to spend time modding. The purpose of releasing a BETA is for testing and feedback. However if things are inaccessible and inaccurate upon release it overshadows the purpose of a BETA as you're basically releasing a defective product. I can easily release a BETA of a global with SJ's REIGN as base and just import a bunch of old stuff, but with me having to create a lot of things from scratch and such it requires specific attention to detail. agolden, he also uses sj sweat. he edited it using hex, he changed the values to put more amount of sweat in sj's reign global... but not in patterns.


I'm not sure of the intended purpose behind this post as the people giving feedback and leaving recommendations are just suggesting things for me to take a look at. The typical 2K player looking to use a global only sees what is presented to them, the process behind it is something they basically leave to us modders. I'm fully aware of all of the possibilities through hex editing, and tat actually uses an edited sweat bead texture to comply with the lighting and mesh with his hex edits.
