WNBA 2KZ V1.0 Mod RELEASED.

Yeah was wondering about the Roster by ModManZZZ I tried finding his discord to get in contact with him but no info to be found hes basically off the grid now would love to help with creating faces but am only just finally getting into the modding scene because no one else really seems to be that interested in updating women's rosters besides us on either NBA 2K or FIFA despite the insane hype for women's sports currently across the league an updated WNBA roster on NBA 2K14 with the new five pointers and four pointers shot mod would go so amazingly hard on NBA 2K14 in 2024.

I have the faces now. There were actually 3 different versions of Candace Parker created.

I spent the past 2 hours+ reading the WNBA Mod thread from NBA 2K13, taking notes, screenshots etc. Noting from the time that TGsoGood started the mod and tirelessly worked on it for months, up until the conversion to NBA 2k14 by ModManZZZ.
I found some pretty interesting stuff, not just faces and really what i was looking for, was the collage of what all 93 generic faces look like.
These will be very useful when creating new players, so everyone doesn't look the same, and can also be used as a base headshape for new players i will create.

I have a pretty good grasp of things now, as i continue to move on updating this roster to 2024, adding in the new logos and seeing about doing the portraits, which i now know is possible, because in NBA 2k13 most of the screenshots shown had a portrait for every player.

The roster by ModManZZZ is basically a 2019 (pre-covid) roster, so i have 5 years of players i need to create starting with the 2020 draft that Sabrina Ionescu went #1 in.

Today i finished the list of all the players who need to be created from the past 5 years.

It's incredible, with just 12 teams and 11 woman per team, making a roster and staying in the WNBA is very hard.

From the 2020 draft just 8 players still remain in the league

Aye, That's sick. The updated 2024 WNBA roster on NBA 2K14 gonna go so hard. WNBA should of been long expanded after Candace and BG came into the leagues. Yeah, I know. Just because some people quit modding though don't mean you cant convince them to come back one more time for a mod finale finish

I am having a little bit of an issue editing team roster transactions with RED MC.

I started with the FEVER, most of the girls from this 2019-2020 roster are no longer on the team. Just 3 to be exact, 2 went to other teams and 7 are no longer in the league. I changed all the team Id's to match the team they are currently on and moved 7 to the FA pool.
Looks perfect in the editor, but when you go into the game and load the roster they are still on the Fever. When you play they are still on the team. Even when you now go into the trade feature in game and try to trade then, the game says they are already on new said team.
What gives?

I know there is a work around for this problem, but that would be much more time consuming. I could just do the transactions in game, using the trade feature and add/drop button. But once again, this would take forever.

I want to know if this is a known issue?
Can be corrected?
Or am i doing something wrong?

I don't think so, because i am pretty sure it's as easy as just changing the TEAM ID #1 & 2 for a player in the editor as i did.

I read the RED MC tutorial for TEAM ID's
Am i missing another column i need to change as well? Or is this a common glitch?

Any veteran roster creators should know the answer to this.

I'd strongly advise against moving players around in RED MC, as there are a lot of fields you have to take care of manually and it's easy to overlook them, leading to issues like this. Always move players around in-game; that way, all the necessary values are updated accordingly and there are no conflicts. Only use RED MC to edit what you can't access in-game. You might have to restore from a backup here, as fixing it is probably going to be very messy (if at all possible).

Also, it looks like a new project is developing here, so it would probably be best to start a new topic rather than using ModManZZZ's release and support topic. Great to see a new roster picking up steam!
