Saves Issue

So I updated a roster in 2k. Then I had to uninstall the entire game. Now, NBA 2K14 doesn't recognize the saves in my save folder, and saves everything in program files.. How do I fix this huge mess?
Been on the thinnest of ice and I turned myself into Gretzky.
