Has anyone been able to pull this off?

Talk about NBA 2K14 here.

Has anyone been able to pull this off?

Postby calejuice on Thu May 18, 2017 5:27 pm

Hey guys

So I am new to modding NBA 2K14, so I am very ignorant and a noob LOL

I tried installing UBR roster, URB roster, Meds roster (Including FIBA, PBA, Kuroko), and MG's Spacejam and Justice League mod. The game runs fine and everything is working but I noticed there is a problem with the scoreboards, cyber faces, and roster images for players. A lot of the cyber faces are not what they are supposed to be. I know this is because of files being overrided with the same file name. Is there anyway to fix this? Has anyone been able to run all of these mods at once without having these issues with cyberfaces, roster files, and scoreboards?

Please let me know because it is a dream to run all of these mods together.

Mahalo!

Not without a lot of editing and renaming of files, I'd imagine. That'd be the only way to counteract conflicting files, and with so many mods, I imagine there'd be a lot of them.

So, if I were to change name files around I would be able to make it work?

I think that I somewhat figured it out. I understand that Med has a universal cyberface ID list, do I just use this list to change name files around? Or does it not work that way.

There has to be someone who is running all these mods together at once, they are the most popular ones I see on YouTube LOL

Using a reference like that might help a bit. I'm guessing you'd also need a licensed version of RED MC to make some of the necessary changes, especially for teams.

A lot of people have multiple installations/folder backups that they can switch between when they want to play with a specific mod. Less work, less messy.

Okay, I will probably resort to different folder backups. Wish we could make it work!

JoneSoft Generic Mod Enabler will do the trick.

Yes, I will look into this!

I was looking through the thread, I saw example pictures for only 2K12. Does this work for 2K14 as well? Thank you!

As I understand it, it can be adapted for use with any game with mods.

Go to programmes and features, click NBA 2K14, and click repair. Reverts most files to the original
